This is heavy duty and easy to use. I have already punched extra holes in three purse straps and it worked great! This is such a handy too to have around. Highly recommend!

Works well and handy in the case

I bought this punch to put extra breathing holes in my tennis shoes and boots. It's a quality tool and it works great but not very many punch plates come with it, and you cannot find replacements no matter how hard you look. I don't recall if it was four or six or so that came with it but I ended up having to manufacture my own from some plastic sheeting. Like the photo shows, I traced the inside of a scotch electrical tape roll, which just happened to be the perfect circumference, onto some plastic sheets that are a tad less than half the thickness of a standard credit card. Cut them out carefully with scissors and they fit right inside the last cupped plastic punch plate that I had- just like the original inserts.

Way to use doesn’t jam love that it comes with multiple plates and a sharpener and nice case to keep it all together in. Nice upgrade from my old one

It's fairly easy to use. I have arthritis, but am able to operate it without any problem. There were NO instructions included, but there were a lot of little plastic discs that fit over the punching platform. I'm new to leather working, so maybe it's common knowledge what to do with those? I'm finding the punch damages the platform. When I put one of the plastic discs down to protect the platform, it punches through it in short order. I have started cutting an extra piece of leather and sandwiching it between the plastic and the leather. This seems to protect the platform, but it's a pain. Instructions would be nice since I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it right, but it's getting the job done.
