A Good Violin with Slight Issues
The violin is generally good and light, easy to carry. Everything was included inside: case, rosin, bow, etc. After rosining the bow, everything works well. I would be great to have some form of instructions as of how to do it. I would imagine it to be a great starter violin should everything be in perfect conditions. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the crown, being overly trimmed on one side, without enough height to support the E-string. This means that every time I, either pluck it, or stroke it with the bow, the string falls onto one side of the crown and slacks and thus unplayable. I tried tightening the string and deepening the groove ever so slightly, but that did not help at all. I would be in need of a crown replacement and some violin repair on the get-go and that is not a good sign of good product, service and quality assurance!

Good cheap buy for a beginner
We read all the reviews on here and when we received the violin we also encountered all the problems the other customers had. The E string kept pinging off when plucked, this was fixed by making sure that the bridge was aligned properly with the arrows on the violin. Next when we came to tune it the E string snapped straight away. We purchased D'Addario Prelude 4/4 Scale Medium Tension Violin String Set and you can notice the difference in sound and quality straight away. After all the mishaps the violin is now behaving well!

Poor quality
I would not recommend buying this violin online. Or any violin online. There was something fundamentally wrong with it. We had to repeatedly tune it by taking to a specialist. It just kept snapping. In the end we probably spent more money on trying to fix it, than on the actual instrument. I would strongly advise buying a violin from a store, when if something goes wrong you can take it back.

Great violin, might want to buy extra strings though
I bought this violin as a total beginner as I had never touched previous. It wasn't one of those £70 cheap ones yet it wasn't a highly expensive one either. It came with a BEAUTIFUL case with 2 compartments. The outside one, I use for sheet music and the small on the inside, I use for rosin. The bow is quite nice with real horse hair (it really gives it a sence of premium quality). But, unfortunately, the G string snapped the moment I tried to tune it as the peg wasn't secured properly. Another bummer was that some of the varnish was chipped and cracked. This didn't effect the sound (I don't think) but it did effect the look and aethstetic of the violin. Overall, I would recommend this as it's still very usable, but maybe invest in some extra strings. I recommend Prelude stainless steel ones.

Waste money
Not good for beginner, the peg are not tight

Great for complete beginners
Detunes quite quickly, however the strings and pegs should get used to tuning after a while. Twist pegs in whilst tuning for a better hold. Sounds decent for the price.

Violin moment
Great for beginners, and for those who are starting back at violins.
