The pages of this book are very poor quality. Though the story is nice.Such quality is not expected at this price

This creative, playful book is a great addition to our bookshelf. The playful, rhythmic storytelling style was fun and engaging for the little ears in our house. I also loved the sweet mama moment tied in at the end.... I wasn't expecting that!I bought the softcopy buy would recommend investing in the hardcover so it's a little more durable.

I bought this beautiful book a little while ago but saved it for our vacation in a forest. And it was perfect! Both of my kids, ages 4 and 6, really enjoyed it and requested multiple rereads every day. My daughter is starting English in school so reading this book together was also a great language practice.

...as a former preschool teacher this is the kind of book I would have loved to send home to parents because of its simplicity in the rhyming sing-along. It was often a challenge to find monthly activities that parents would be able to do easily while supporting developmental goals such as patterning, spatial and motor skills. The best part about the book is that you don't need to know any of this teacher stuff to enjoy it! It's SO CHARMING and SWEET! Young children will enjoy it especially if your family likes the outdoors! And if you're a family that is kind of squeamish about nature...this is a relaxing romp to introduce the wonders of the forest from the comfort of your home! Makes a great little gift. (Note: I rarely give 5 stars so a 4 is darn good for me. The trim on the copy I received was a bit off on quite a few pages, but that has nothing to do with the author or illustrator. The colors are beautiful and the rhyme is so well done!)

I did not have an issue with quality as some other users did. The song was cute and 75% of it is great. And then she’s mere feet away from a grizzly bear and my husband even joked that it’s eating the little girl because it’s honestly just bad bear safety and terrifying. Then she finds her mom and the mom doesn’t even seem overly concerned and it ends on a very weird note with a moose. I bought this for a donation but I wouldn’t keep it for my own kid.
