Q: Hello, can I paint these panels without destroying there performance?

No because if you paint them they will get hard and reflect the sound instead of absorbing it.

I lucked out as professional installers were in my office for something else and I paid them to install. No instructions with mine either. From what I saw one bracket needs to be attached to the back of the mat and the other to the wall. They are cleats that interconnect. Not very easy to install.

Good Morning, Unfortunately, our panels are not designed to help with block sound transmission. In order to mitigate the sound from the bar, you will need to add a layer of soundproofing material to the shared wall. -Eric
