These definitely turn your water blue. But its because it is clean! It smells clean and it keeps it clean for a while. Theyre not expensive. The product is pretty good. Definitely keep away from kids. My 4 year old wanted to help but with it a strong blue dye, I know it would stain skin and clothes. Its easy to use too. Just take the tank cover off, flush once, drop in the round pellet in the corner and put the tank cover back on. Thats it.

After 2 days the water in my toilet was a very light blue then almost clear the next day. I had to take the top off the toilet bowl and found out the tablet was in the corner but not dissolving. It had like a light blue scale over it. I had to fork over the tablet for my water to turn blue. Two days later the water was clear and my toilet was not cleaned. I do have hard water.
