Leaked air in my pc instead of liquid. Simple test pump, worked fine.

I was able to easily pressurize individual waterblocks and radiators (cheap and used, so in need of testing) as well as my entire loop with 19 fittings, four waterblocks, and two radiators. Never leaked air when it shouldn’t have. Good peace of mind when you’re about to poor water into a frustratingly expensive computer. The pressure gauge seems very sensitive to even slight leaks, and I’ll be honest that I had a bad habit of picking it up by the slidy bit and twirling it around, which never affected its performance so it seems pretty high quality to me. Definitely worth buying and I will use it on any future cooling loops.

Loosely screwed together, had it leaking in the middle of a build and I had a bit of a fit. FInaly found the leak and was able to tighten the parts together, and looks to be working as intended. a tool like this is invaluable when buiding watercooling for pc's, such a time saver

Works as intended, I’ve used this to pressurize multiple custom loop systems and it worked perfect. Gauge has color coded pressure markers.

The leak tester does work, I was able to use it and locate a few small leaks, however, the model I was given seemed to have issues with the o-rings thar keep the pressure. So the tester itself would leak which made it appear that I had a leak in my loop. After hours of looking and trying different methods to locate the leak, I eventually found it......in the tester. Simply replacing those rings and my tester now works just fine. I may have gotten that one in 10 with a defect and it was simple to fix but, man, did that lead down a rabbit hole that I should not have had to go down. So bottom line is, it works, may need some inspection before.

I decided to build a simple water-cooling loop. First time, so you can imagine my thoughts about water and electronics. I did not want water destroying any component in my PC. Fear is not even close to describe what I was feeling. I decided to buy this pump because those videos with people and paper towels waiting for the water to leak are not very convincing. I found out that my loop was not leak-proof. With this pump I could check the whole loop or segments at a time just using water blocks. I found the 'air' leak and learnt at the same time. In the picture you can see that the GPU's outlet is not connected to the tubing going to the radiator. The tubing connected to the reservoir inlet is also not connected to the radiator. There are water blocks at both ends I left the pump connected to the loop for an hour after I fixed the problem. The pressure did not drop a bit. The teaching here is that all parts of a loop are very well made because they are based on water and gas pipe designs that has been used for many, many years. Usually the leak is caused by the person building the loop... like me. If you are new to this, you cannot fail with one of these pumps. You can save a lot of money by investing some in this kit.
