Works as it should! Fixed my issue with apple carplay suddenly disconnecting while driving Despite receiving power. It was really easy to install and there a few good videos on YouTube showing it. I watched the one from Gearmo Auto. I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 for reference.

My daughter plugged her phone charger into my 2020 Traverse front usb and the whole port stopped working. It’s been almost six months of no Apple Carplay because I haven’t had the time to sit for the two hour diagnostic that my car dealership said would need to be done to tell what the problem was, despite me telling them the story, or wanted to pay what it would probably cost. I figured it was a fuse, but after some searching with no luck, I decided to try to replace the actual port. I’m a woman with the desire to fix things myself but often have to ask my husband for help. I watched a YouTube video, bought this replacement plus a cheap set of plastic car interior tools, and got the old usb out and put this new one in, in less than 5 minutes. Worked like a charm and now I can use maps and other features of Apple Carplay again! Very pleased!!

Works perfectly as a replacement for my 2018 Chevy Equinox usb port. This isn't the exact part, BUT it does work and does allow for Android Auto and Apple Carplay to work perfectly from the beginning/right after install. Also works with aftermarket dongle for Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Make sure to look up a video for your make/model car so you do the removal of the old part and the install of the new one correctly (it's a bit tricky), but perfect item

I got it on time. It was a perfect fit for my gmc Acadia. Other than being a slight pain on the install. It definitely connects to phone using android auto. It did feel like a quality part when I installed it.

Perfect fit. The old one broke coming out and was a bit of a pain to get out without disassembling the center console, but with a little fishing I managed it. New one was super easy to install, just plug in the two cables, test it before you snap it back down into place, and then snap it into place. Connects well, replaced because both ports in the old one were loose. If the old one had come out in a single piece this would have been a 15 minute install.

The Apple CarPlay stopped working in my 2020 Traverse LT. In addition, the USB ports (in front) would not charge the cell phones. After doing soft and hard resets on the infotainment system and verifying the fuses were good, and using different USB cables and devices to no avail, the next step was to replace the USB module located underneath the infotainment screen. After replacing the USB module, the Apple CarPlay started working again and can now charge the cell phones.

2018 Silverado 1500. Awesome deal on a GM Genuine Part. I got it for half price because they said it was used but like new. It was actually brand new and came sealed in it's factory GM part bag. I made a mistake before and bought a cheap data cable which rusted and ruined the original receptacle inside my center console. This new receptacle was easy to install, plug and play. Now my car play is working again.

Purchased to replace existing receptacle that was having issues with USB port for Carplay. It was very easy to change out and fit perfectly in my 2018 Chevy Traverse. Currently it is working better then the one it replaced.

perfect replacement for my Holden Captiva 2017 LTZ USB ports. Seriously suggest getting professional installation. Otherwise you need to tear your center consol apart.
