Okay, let’s start off by saying we bought the 49.99$ custom lightsaber first & we charged it for 3 hours like the box said. we realized after opening the box there was no instructions manual & there was plastic wrapped around the battery after we charged the sword, no where on the box does it say whether to remove the plastic or not. But after charging for 3 hours the sword wouldn’t even cut on. It would for a second when it was on the charger but then would cut off instantly. The sword kept saying “charging complete” but then when we took it off charge it wouldn’t do anything. So we sent that one back, make sure you keep your Amazon box & original box the sword comes in or else you will be charged for a box to be able to send the sword back. SECOND REVIEW: We decided to go with the more expensive option of the custom lightsaber now the second sword was 69.99$ but WAYYY better in my opinion. Definitely worth the money. This sword came with a whole mini book of instructions plus it also has an app you can download that controls the sword completely all you have to do is keep your Bluetooth on. Colors are really bright or you can dim them down on the app, it also shows the swords charge percentage & it has options on how to change the colors, sensitivity, & the sound of the sword. The app basically shows you how to do everything without even reading or remembering the steps on each movement. The sword itself it pretty heavy & pretty durable. 10/10 would recommend the more expensive one. Definitely not for kids under the age of 13. It’s more of a “collectors type” item because I don’t think you’ll wanna go around hitting people with it cuz you’ll definitely feel that hit. But overall we’re pretty happy with the second product.

Okay, this lightsaber is AWESOME!!! The overall quality is great! I am still learning how to spin my lightsaber, so naturally I drop it. A lot. However, it has not taken any damage! The size is PERFECT. Looks genuine! It is very bright at night, but in the sun, obviously, the light is very dim. If you're looking for a lightsaber to start off with, this is perfect. It has many features, including sound, color, clash, motion control, etc... it is a bit complicated to learn all the features, but once you get the hang of it, it's so much fun. My Favorite feature is that when you spin it, it turns on by itself, and if you twist the hilt quickly back and forth, it turns off! Would recommend!

Update: I have spoken with the seller and they shipped a fixed component at no charge. Thank you for making this right. My only wish was a better way to contact the seller directly. We loved this saber for a few months. While the description says ‘12 month customer support’ or some such, I had an issue with the battery. The saber would not turn on, period. I did what the manual suggested when this issue occurred. I figured before I sent it back I would buy a battery to rule that out. The battery for this saber is not so easy to shop for. I found one tha matched all the specs, but the size of the new purchased battery was incorrect. I attempted to contact both Amazon customer service, who were no help, and then contacted the company directly. All I asked for was where to get a replacement battery or what specs I should shop for. I WAS WILLING TO BUY THE BATTERY. After getting the run around from both Amazon and the company, who told me to send them a purchased battery to see if it was compatible. All I wanted was a recommendation of an Amazon product I could purchase that would be compatible. Such poor CS and a blatant lie about returns and customer service, I’m writing to warn anyone who wants to purchase this. BUYER BEWARE!

I got two. They both work perfectly outside of overheating and randomly powering off due to summer heat. Last a long while and bright as hell at night. In a rural area you can see a good 5-8 feet in pitch black. I have also found I am a much bigger gremlin with them.

Edited to add the photo. The Sabers are very bright and were a huge hit at the wedding. My daughter and son in law absolutely love these sabers. My daughter is getting married May 4th and we needed Sabers for photo's. She is such a fan of Star Wars, I wanted to make sure to get her something that was not cartoonish or generic, but something collectable that will last her for a long time. These are perfect. The saber's light is very vibrant. It is really bright. Customer service was the best I've dealt with yet. I am so very happy I found Custom Sabers. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Good weight and very solid, a little challenge to get the function you want. I have no idea how they crammed so many features into one button, bravo!

Bought this for my teenager and he was absolutely thrilled. Requires some assembly. He didn’t have any problems with doing that himself. The sound effects and different colored lights make this worth the money!

15 minutes of dueling and the top broke off. The blade also chipped and hit my friend in the face. Default lightsaber sound was also mediocre. Wasn’t motion sensitive and was actually annoying to hear. Flash on clash was okay though. But in general, horrible.
