The Threads that Bind

A love story through time. Annie has entwines the mystical with folklore to bring alive an adventure though time at a place that still holds its mystery. The story is believable as there are many unexplainable things in this world. Love is the key. It makes one want to travel to Glastonbury and seek out the stones for themselves with the hope of being able to travel back or forwads in time. A fitting end to the series, but it leaves the reader wanting more.

THE THREADS THAT BIND is a standalone read with a wonderful ending. There are no sex scenes although it is implied. It is the last book in the series and you might be a little lost since it is a time travel story and to me those can be very confusing if you don't get all the information. This is a delightful story and you will understand it you will just have missed a lot of good reading if you haven't read the other 3 books in the series. I almost wished I had waited and then read all 4 at one time. It is great either way. I loved it. I have read all 4, just read them as they were released.Beth, Lucy's daughter is staying in her aunt's cottage in Cornwall and has discovered a set of diaries that her aunt had written. The women's line in this family are special. They are able to time travel some going back and forth in time quite often. Beth is discovering that she too is able to time travel but there is a lot of information she needs to do it successfully.Lucy has told her daughter she will be visiting for about a week and then she will be taking a long journey. Beth understandably is confused. Does her mother know about the time travel? Are there things she never shared with Beth? And then the shocker. The man she thought was her father was not. Then who?This story is so good. It describes time travel in a way that is easy to understand. There are no questions at the end. It is a great love story with an even greater ending. After you read the last page you will be forced to wonder.....when you hear of a person disappearing and never being heard from again, is it possible they left of their own free will to a better lifetime? Are they time traveling? Could it be possible? This author makes it seem like it could. A great read and I definitely recommend it.I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. Very good time travel book. Includes friendships and love that travel with the characters. I loved the story and did cry when it was finished.
