The Biggest Story Bible Storybook Review: Bible for Kids - As a parent, finding the right Bible for my child was essential, and I couldn't be happier with the one I chose. The colorful illustrations not only make the stories come to life but also help my child easily grasp the concepts within the text. The illustrations are beautifully integrated into the stories, making it engaging and visually appealing for young readers. Each page is a delightful adventure, filled with vibrant images that capture my child's imagination and bring the stories to life in a whole new way. What's more, the text itself is presented in a way that is easy for kids to understand, making it accessible and enjoyable for children of all ages. Whether it's the story of Noah's Ark or the parable of the Good Samaritan, my daughter is captivated by the vivid imagery and compelling narratives. Reading this Bible with my daughter has become a cherished nightly ritual. Not only does it provide us with valuable bonding time, but it also helps instill important values and teachings in her young heart and mind. I highly recommend this Bible for kids. Its colorful illustrations, engaging storytelling, and accessibility make it a perfect choice for introducing children to the wonders of the Bible and nurturing their faith journey from an early age. Review: Beautiful In Art and Words - The Storybook Bible is an enlightening, engaging, funny, clever, and beautiful retelling of the story of the Bible in bite-sized, art-filled chunks. What stands out at first look is the amazing artwork. The cohesive style by Don Clark is really something else. You could just page through this book without even reading the stories and be built up. However, upon reading, you realize the playful yet profound art of the words as well. There are jokes and wordplay in these retelling of key Bible stories, but also a really good grasp of the through line of theology. The prayers at the end of the each story often then connect the story to Jesus and our faith. A note on the theological bias: there is a representational and non-sacramental view displayed in the accounts involving baptism and the Lord’s Supper, for my Lutheran, Anglican, Catholic, Calvinist, and Orthodox friends. Overall, though, there isn’t any other spin here besides Christocentricity that I’ve seen so far.

BEAUTIFUL BOOK YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED
A BEAUTIFUL BOOK….5 STARS ARE NOT ENOUGH. I am 60 years young and I purchased out of curiosity. Wondering what we are teaching our children about Jesus and the Bible. This book can be purchased from birth thru 10 years old. You can read to your baby and as they grow and begin to see color they will be fascinated by the vibrant colors and art work. Great bedtime reading book as your child grows.

Great content and illustrations
My family loves this book! It is great for kids (probably recommend 5+) and also great for us adults too! It simplifies the stories of the Bible while explaining the meaning of the stories well. The illustrations are beautiful as well. Highly recommend for kids 5-10.

Finally a theologically sound children's Bible
We love this Bible story book! I was in search of a good children's Bible as I was finding that all of the ones that we were gifted have major errors and tend to portray God in a very childish and rather emotional way. I have not found that to be the case with this one. The stories are nice and short and also talk about the meaning of that passage/story and what that means in the larger story of the Bible. The author didn’t shy away from actual events and I was happy to see accurate accounts of events without withholding certain details (such as death or murder). For example the story of Cain and Able talks about Cain killing his brother. Not in a gory way but it does tell you what happened. In the New Testament section he tells the story of Ananias and saphira and how they were killed instantly and the men carried their bodies away. I was very pleased to see they added in many stories and not just the popular kid stories that are in most childrens Bible story books. I could go on about this book but I think it is a worthwhile investment and great bedtime/morning time read for Bible beginners. I have to say as an adult who has read through the Bible and continues to do so this was well written enough that I think adults who have never read the Bible and/are new believers could read this along with the Bible to help them better understand some basic theology. Edit: After reading some of the negative reviews I’d like to add a couple of comments. First: this is a STORYBOOK Bible. It is not a replacement for the real Word of God and shouldn’t be used that way. The stories don’t come of as a translation and they aren’t intended to. This is great for young children (some said it was juvenile) who are learning the biblical narrative or can be used alongside the actual Bible with older children (honestly I would use an actual Bible for kids above 5). Second: this storybook Bible is coming from a reformed theologian. Reformed theology has a very high view of scripture and seeks to understand the world and theology through what the Bible says ALONE (not the tradition of man). If you don’t know what reformed theology is I highly recommend looking into it (R.C. Sproul has great videos on YouTube that explain it). That being said if you are coming from a different religion (Catholicism) or a different theological background/denomination you may have an issue with it. These are things to look into before purchasing any book.

Busy Mom Approved
The Biggest Story Bible has been such a gift for me as a busy mom! The stories are beautifully written and easy to understand, making it simple to share God’s Word with my baby while also filling my own heart. The illustrations are stunning — colorful and engaging without being overly graphic, even in the “scarier” parts of the Bible. They stay true to the reality of Scripture in a way that’s honest but still age-appropriate. It’s the perfect way to stay connected to Scripture as a mom while introducing my little one to God’s story from the very beginning. Truly a beautiful resource for any family! Also without the sleeve it is very stunning!

The book cover design and pattern are excellent. The illustrations inside are colorful and well-composed, without being tiring to the eyes. I believe it deserves a higher price. Kudos to the illustrator for doing a great job!

Our family and church absolutely loves this Bible. It has stunning artwork, clear explanations but what impressed me the most is that they include book of the bible you don't typically see in kids bibles - and always connecting EVERYTHING to our Saviour and Lord Jesus! It is so well written and it makes daily devotions with your family exciting! Best purchase EVER.
