Great sensor works well with my Garmin
I have been using this sensor for over a year now with no complaints. It is as accurate as the more expensive units and has yet to fail.I will buy another if this one goes out.

Not user friendly, best to avoid
Former bike shop mechanic, still very competent with repairs and maintenance. Bought these primarily for their price point, which suggested slightly nicer than cheap AliExpress, but not as expensive or feature packed as name brand. Somehow ended up with the worst of both worlds. Bought two. One had clearly been mounted and used previously. The other had a dead battery. Removing the cover to replace that battery is virtually impossible due to the design of the sensor (pry off cover secured with a large o-ring rather than a rotating and locking cover) and the material selection (very soft plastic cover that deforms and tears easily when using a flathead to pry it off per their instructions). By the time I was done the cover had pry marks and deformations I had to file down to get it to fit in the mount and the o-ring had long since been shredded.Once the battery was replaced, pairing was simple. Have only done small test rides, they seem to work fine, though the response rate seems a bit sluggish. Fine for casual use, but not as responsive as competitive riders would like to see.Overall, there are better options to spend your money on.UPDATE: Manufacturer since offered a refund. Which is fine, but I'd rather have a product that work. Since then I have been trying to use the sensors. One cadence sensor decided to uninstall itself from my crankarm mid-ride and has not been seen since. One speed sensor drained a full brand new battery between rides, and a second has not connected to my bike computer since the initial setup. Revised the review down and am shopping other brands for replacement. Buy right the first time and spend your money once.

Keeps me going, rain or shine
As an an avid person on a bike, I often miss riding on rainy days. Took one of my 4 bikes set it up with trainer on the covered back porch and kept on riding

Read this first. I am amending my rating (from 1 to 3 Stars) as well as my review. I am not removing anything that I have written previously so that you may learn from my mistakes.Power Labs contacted me through Amazon and offered me great customer service. That speaks volumes about a company in today's world. I am satisfied.I have been using Power Labs speed sensor since installation with near seamless success and with my Garmin. You have to manually change the wheel size through your wearable not through the app (for Garmin you press the middle button on the left hand side, scroll to settings scroll down to sensors and accessories, scroll down to your wheel sensor scroll down to wheel size. Upper right button click, select manual and then you do the thousand and hundred followed by the 10 and one). My manual wheel size is 1200 mm. Even an eighth of an inch deviation from its location would change the speed so don't use my number as your starting point. Well you can but it may not help you finalize your perfect speed match.Finally after looking at everything and thinking about it, this Power Labs speed sensor itself was not faulty. It was the Maxwell battery that was actually the culprit. Now I stand by my statements of opening this device and the hassle of getting a battery but your experience may not mimic mine and honestly believe that this was a unique experience. For the price of this unit it's worth it to give it a try.Updated pictures will be a picture of the final screen you want to be at in order to change your wheel settings as well as a picture of the two batteries that I have replaced for both the speed and crank sensors, different companies. The devices look and act the same but for different purposes. This leads me to believe that the power consumption on the Power Lab speed sensor would just be physically impossible to drain in such a short time and my conclusion is that this battery was faulty from the beginning. Of course if I have to change the battery in this thing after 6 months I will be back here. LOL._______________________________________________Amazon came though with lightning shipping for this speed sensor. That's the one star.The good: The speed sensor is small and it came with two mounting options.The bad: This unit came DOA. I must have shook it for 5 minutes, and not gingerly either, more like a baby. Still nothing.The ugly: I had to get into the case to check the battery and this is the thinnest plastic I have ever seen. I tried a penny like I do with my trusty Wahoo cadence sensor but this was a no go. I ended up using a screwdriver from a Swiss army knife and as it is tapered it had the best results opening it. Unfortunately, it left apprentice marks on the case.The furious: the battery was indeed dead. Do I try to send it back after chowdering up the case because of a dead battery or do like I always do, try to fix it myself? I opted for the latter because I wanted to use this thing TODAY. So into town I went for a 2032 battery. Now this little project has cost me 10 bucks in gas and a battery. Swell.I checked the new battery BEFORE installing and it was strong. Now the supplied battery was a Made in Japan Maxell stamped 24 (I assume the year made). I don't know how this ,usually quality, battery was dead but it was.I installed it on our spin bike with some VHB 3M tape (not supplied). It took some tinkering in Garmin but I got the speed dialed in with the bike's speed. None of this effects the rating I'm just telling you how it went AFTER I had to fix something BRAND NEW.Bottom line, unless you have the tools and patience and you love tinkering on brand new stuff, oh and if you have a spare CR2032 laying around, don't bother.

Doesn't work right
Doesn't work. Going to return it. It does connect and work like it's supposed to, but it has huge lag for any program I use with it, and keeps dropping out so it doesn't register my pedaling. Also, tried contacting customer service to report my issue, and I never got a reply

Does the job
The media could not be loaded. I got this to get my daughter’s bike on Zwift. The pairing went fine and Zwift saw it instantly. We were able to ride together with her older brother. The included retention strap wasn’t long enough for the hub on her bike so I had to improvise with a rubber band instead.

New fun for 25 year old spin bike - Wahoo, Zwift, etc.
I attached the POWR-LABS speed sensor on the flywheel of my 25 year old Schwinn Spin Bike with 3M double-sided (not supplied). The sensor remains hidden behind the plastic chain guard. The chain guard had to be trimmed a bit to so that the sensor does not hit it. I tested the sensor with the Wahoo app on my Android tablet. It also works well with the Zwift app.Why I did not give the product five stars: It took me a while to figure out that the sensor was not broken. Once the sensor has detected movement, the blinking blue light above the white dot with the Bluetooth and ANT+ symbols did not light. The problem: The sensor arrived with a dead CR2032 battery. I bought a pair of new ones.I would recommend also buying the powr-labs CADENCE sensor and possibly a powr-labs heart rate monitor.
