comprehensive
We use this book in class. It's very interactive so we can ask each other questions. I wish it had the answers to the various questions. Covers all the basics.

My first Italian language text and I'm still using it
I'm not sure why I liked the book so much, but I know that I learned the language. The lessons build logically, the illustrations are great, the side stories are entertaining and useful. This is an old edition, but don't pass it by if the price of a new edition puts you off.

Great condition--unmarked, binding barely broken
This was a current edition in 1998. It says alot about the student that owned it. Can't believe she passed the class. I'm not sure she opened the book (other than to write her name in the cover!!). Anyway--my price, hard cover, 9 cents. A great deal, especially since the verbs conjugate pretty much the same now as they did in 1998.

Ciao....
What can you say...it's a text. The most important thing to learn is Dove il gabinetto? Where's the bathroom. Everything else is secondary. Ciao...

Better than expected
Required for the class I am participating. Condition is better than described. CD however is confusing to use, could be better.

Wonderful book to learn Italian
This is really a wonderful book for self-learning Italian. I've read a couple of books before and this is the only one I continued to use until now. The grammar is clear and concise, the book is well-organized and the typos are really really rare.
