Great product, great price, strong so I have used it as a walking stick as well, all great!

My stick would not come out off the umbrella. The seller did try to help but in the end I gave up and am just keeping it as it is. I can use it as an umbrella and a walking stick but not separately as advertised. Comparing it with the others for sale, the price was not bad.

Bought this last month and only just been able to use it. First of all the cane inside the umbrella was incredibly hard to get out, I had to use all my strength to get it out when I did the quality was shocking and then second this umbrella couldn’t even withstand a slight breeze let alone a gust of wind it broke immediately. What a waste of money. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Initially it looked good. But then you notice that the protective cover for the umbrella doesn't have a hole at the bottom or a fastener at the top. If you try to use the umbrella as a walking stick, the ferrule would rip a hole in the cover. A cover which likes to slide off if not held in place.Then there's the umbrella handle. The finger grip is a cut out section of the handle which is glued in place. Except it wasn't glued in the correct position and as a result, you can see straight through the handle from one side to another. The walking cane concealed within the umbrella is sturdy enough, however it has a small metal ferrule and therefore provides no grip whatsoever on hard surfaces. It likes to slip out from under you unless extreme care is taken.The overall idea is good. The umbrella can be separated from the walking stick so when it rains you are still able to use a walking stick. The build quality is just not acceptable for this price range. Item returned.

This umbrella/cane combo is a excellent idea and would be very useful if only the maker had done a little better. I would hope that they make the following changes: 1) put proper rubber ferrule on the cane 2) make the cane shaft a bit stronger metal 3) put stronger plastic (or wood) handle 4) make cane adjustable for height and lastly put a hole in the umbrella sleeve.I would cation anyone from using the cane as it is with the terrible ferrule it has, also would worry about the thin shaft of the cane supporting a heavier person. A few changes and it would be great.

The media could not be loaded. Bought for my elderly father who needs a strong stick/umbrella to steady him....The stick & the umbrella advertise that they come apart but Ive tried using strength but no movement....Handle is poor quality as it looks like wooden handle but its cheap hollow plastic..... Not worth the money

Great product, strong well made. Stylish and substantial. Issue, no instructions on how to separate the two items.

This 2-in-1 cane umbrella is exactly as advertised. The handle is rich looking even though it's made of plastic, but it has a smooth and solid feel. It is solid, hard and durable type plastic--not light and brittle cheap plastic. The grip is firm. The umbrella canopy is wide enough for two people, and instantly springs open at the touch of a button farther up the handle. Just pull down on the slide to close it with a click. Ribs of the canopy are strong and flexible to withstand strong gusts of wind. I haven't tried it in the rain yet, but given the over all high quality, I assume it repels water. The cane is solid and has a strong shaft with a regular style nonskid tip. The shaft comes free from the umbrella section so that you can hold the umbrella in one hand, and the cane shaft in the other, so as to continue walking without getting wet. It is possible to walk with just the ferrule pointed shaft for a short distance, but for a long walk I recommend leaving the shaft in the umbrella section to get the benefit of the cane tip and greater height. There is a carry sleeve that both protects the cane umbrella, and that can be slung over your shoulder for easy carrying. I use the umbrella for emergency backup in case of rain or if my rollator sustains damage so that I can still make it home using the cane feature. By the way the shaft is pointed enough to use as a self defense weapon when employed in a forward thrust stabbing motion. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the cane height adjustable. Being five feet ten it's just adequate for my needs, but for a person much taller--I don't knowww!!? As you can tell though over all I am a very satisfied customer, and would generally recommend this product.

I needed a walking stick and umbrella for a trip to windy & rainy Ireland when a hooded jacket was not enough for my wife and I were walking together. This umbrella fit the bill nicely. It also traveled well through the airports.

Bought this and used this it while visiting NYC to attend a college graduation. It does appear to be very well made. Several people complimenting the look and feel of the umbrella. Rained a lot and did the job. It can be a bit of a challenge to close and lock. Has a pretty strong mechanism for doing that but because of that it also deploys rather impressively... My biggest concern is losing it since it is relatively expensive as umbrellas go. So easy to forget an umbrella on the subway or at a restaurant, etc etc. A hand strap option would be a great added feature. I made my own.
