The seal is of perfect size and the tube of sealant is the perfect amount for the cover the seal fits in. If you’ve pulled your timing cover than here is the seal and sealant to get it back together without issue.

So I did a timing chain on my Audi and it came with this same tube of silicone and it worked out perfectly, I used every drop from the tube. I had a problem with the cover and decided to replace it and bought this silicone again since it worked so good. I got halfway through running the bead on the cover and all the sudden a big air pocket burped out and ran short.
