No one responsible for defective boot
I ordered these boots to use as a student in the Louisiana Master Naturalist program. I placed the order in January 2015 and used the boots several times over the course of a few months. The sole started to come apart, and although the boots were not leaking, it was far too early for them to show signs of wear or coming apart! I called the number to the seller on Amazon. Someone in Mew York answered and had no knowledge of the shoe retailer. I contacted The Muck Boot Store, who declared themselves a retail outlet, but not the producers of the boots. I was instructed to call Honeywell, which I did. I talked to 4 different representatives in various departments. Finally, i was told to call Amazon, and that they would orchestrate a replacement for the defective boots. I called Amazon immediately and was told that my order was over six months old and that the manufacturer was now responsible for replacing the defective boots. I called Honeywell back and was told that a particular person would return my call. Guess what happened then?? Nothing. No one called and I gave up. I spent all the time on the computer and phone that i could stand. I won't be buying Muck Boots again and I will be sharing this with all of my fellow Master Naturalists and Master Gardeners and the two universities that host each program, Loyola and LSU and you.

Boots are falling apart
Very disappointing product, Ive had these just over a year and the boots are literally falling apart. I wear them a couple hours at most each weekend. The rubber is coming loose from the sole. I paid about 100 for these original Muck boots. I wouldnt buy them again and cant recommend them. I did contact Muck about the boots, but 14 months is out of warranty.

My Favorite Model Muck Boots By FAR!
I bought these muck boots for hunting in NC. I turkey hunt in the spring and deer hunt in the fall and winter. I needed a versatile boot that can be comfortably worn in any weather and is absolutely WATERPROOF. I have worn these for almost 4 months now (during both hunting seasons and just working around the house) so I have a good feel for them. So far, I really only have one complaint and that is the material causes an uncomfortable rubbing on my calves when I am just wearing socks or thermals underneath. I understand that in order for them to be warm, they have to be snug around the calves and I'd rather have an uncomfortable rash then frozen toes! I have larger calves to begin with and although I do have room in them, they still rub my calves when I walk and it can be very uncomfortable. Tucking my pants into my boots does help some, but folding them down gives the best relief. Which leads me to my favorite thing about them...I love their ability to easily fold over and stay folded over! This makes them so easy to slip on and off while at home and it allows your legs to breathe when it is hot out. However, if you leave the boot folded over like this there will be a line around the boot, but I don't mind much because I did not buy them for their looks! Plus it makes it easy to tuck your pants down inside the boot well. You can just fold them over. Put your foot in and tuck your pants around your ankle, then roll/unfold the boot shaft back up your calves. The biggest selling point of these boots for me was that they are the Wetland model - so obviously, they will be waterproof. I definitely tested this out last weekend. I walked straight through a 1ft deep creek for about 5 minutes, then walked through a huge field that had been rained on for a week and sunk in the mud up to my ankle with every step. My feet stayed completely dry.As for the fit, I bough the 'unisex' (aka mens) version of these boots because they seems to have better tread and more of a heavy duty sole. I purchased the size 6 mens (supposed to be a 7 womens) and these fit my 7.5 size feet perfectly with a regular sock. However, I doubled up my socks one morning because it was cold and I soon felt like my feet were losing blood flow and had to take the extra pair off. Therefore, I probably should have gone with the 7 mens (8 womens) because I don't know if I will need those extra socks during winter. Plus, I use ThermaCell Heated Insoles which can take up even more space inside the boot. If do need more room, I will certainly be purchasing these same boots in a larger size next winter. They are certainly worth it in my opinion!I can't tell how well they will hold up, as I have only had them a few months. However, I have worn them a lot and have not been gentle in the slightest, yet they still look brand new! My husband and I have tired quite a few Muck Boots and these are definitely our favorites and we think these will last a long time!

Excellent boots, but need better material for longevity
These are the most comfortable hunting rubber boots I've ever had. You can hike in them all day and they keep you warm, dry and comfy... Only problem is that the upper section is made of a weak foam material that tears easily on brush, sticks, grain stalks, etc. Every time I go in the field I get a new tear in them, even when I try to baby them... They would be perfect boots if the upper section was made of a material that would last and not tear every time I go through bushes or hunt in stalks of grain. If you are hunting open grass lands without brush, these will be great. If you hunt where there is anything you have to push through rougher than grass, then I recommend finding a different pair of boots. Hopefully Muck Boots will improve the toughness of this material, and then I'd buy these again!

If wearing for everyday work, dont purchase..
My husband purchased so he would have insulated work boots! He thought they were comfortable and they kept his feet warm like he wanted. The reason I gave three stars is because he's only had the boots for over a month and the side of the boots have already started to tear on both boots. If this didnt happen I'd give it 5 stars. So if you wear them for work, I wouldn't recommend buying these.

Perfect gardening boots
Why did I not know about these boots before?! I work out in my garden 5 days a week and over the years I have worn the same kind of LaCrosse Burly rubber boot and they seemed to work fine. This year, the pressure of being on my feet for so long have taken a toll. At the end of the day my knees are painful and my feet are so sore I can barely walk. I read reviews about these MuckBoots before but I just didn't like the way they looked. I really thought I needed a full rubber boot, like a rain boot. Man, was I wrong. These boots are so comfortable and I can work long and hard and my feet and knees don't hurt at the end of the day. The ankle isn't as tight as I would like it but the boot is much easier to get off. No struggling and no more sweaty calves and feet. I normally wear a 7.5 in a women's Keen shoe and most other athletic type shoes. My foot is narrow too. It was recommended to get a half size smaller in a boot, so I got the women's size 7 (that would be Men's size 6). I find these boots extremely comfortable and I feel sure-footed wearing them. Love the sole too. I have better traction and so much more shock absorbancy. This is my best purchase this year!

Take care on smooth wet surfaces.
A great pair of comfortable boots. I have had several pairs of Chore muck boots before but decided to give the Wetlands a try. They are used regularly for tough farming work during the Winter and will usually last for about a year. I have never needed extra socks even during deep snow. The reason I have knocked one star off is because, as another reviewer commented, you need to be very careful with these Wetland boots on smooth wet surfaces such as steps or flagstones . A couple of days ago I slipped quite badly whilst wearing them. Apart from that they are fantastic.

Let's see how these last
Last pair of these I had lasted 3 years being worn twice a day for dog walking (5 miles a day), new boots are now made in China so we'll see how these last! I do wish brands would keep their production in the home company of the brand as my experience of quality brands moving production overseas tends to lower quality of goods Hunter wellies, Timberland boots have gone down hill side they moved production away from UK / US.

The best insulated wellies for muddy dog walks?
Bought for long walks with my Vizsla and they are the best wellies I have owned (easily beating Barbour and Hunter options), strong grippy soles, solid footbed - lots of support and the extra warmth provided by the neoprene is perfect for a three-season boot (will be too warm for summer).
