screen cracked as I was putting it in. glue strips are weak and is struggling to hold the right hand side together. Then the ribbon cable for the home button caused another crack as the components attached to it got dislodge and created a pressure point.Tools: more than you will use a lot was unnecessary, the "knife" will cut you as you hold and use, it did me twice before deciding to wrap the handle with a cloth.

I'd never replaced the glass on an ipad before but it was really easy and the kit works extremely well, only advice I'd give is keep the original home button as your finger print won't work without it, it's easy enough to remove, I'd also get glass glue, but this is definitely a good buy fixed my sons ipad in 15 min

Received and fitted today . So far so good . Didn’t have correct Phillips screwdriver but lucky I had a spare .Took a while to clean and remove the old broken screen but doing this properly will yield best results .The home button has a loud click but for £15 can’t complain . All in all seems good . I will update review in a week or so .

What can I say, old screen was smashed this swapped in. came with all the tools I needed, they aren't top of the range tools but they are perfect for this job and if I need to do it again I'll get a new set of tools! Watched a you tube video to do the swap all sorted.

First thing to notice is the quality of the glue strips, they’ve really scrimped on this and struggled to get it to stay down with what they provide.After screen was fitted we put the screen protector on that was provided, this is also poor quality, iPad was then placed in a full surround protection case but somehow the screen has cracked without any kind of force apart from gentle use, protector still intact.Amazon customer services very good and resolved the issue.

The media could not be loaded. I Replaced the new screen very easy and simple, notest the screen glue is very week an not sticking down properly,Within less than one hour of use the home button failed,i then took the iPad back apart to repair the home button very carefully out of no were I’ve now got a big crack going down the screen Thats now made the iPad screen not usable.
