WPT-190 New Engine Water Pump with Gaskets - Compatible with Select Lexus CT200h Toyota Prius, Prius C, Prius Plug-In, Prius V

I purchased the AISIN WPT-190 water pump for my Toyota Prius 2011, and it has performed perfectly. The installation was straightforward, and the pump fit exactly as expected with no modifications needed. The included gaskets sealed well, and everything lined up precisely with the OEM parts. After installation, the engine temperature has been stable, quieter, and more consistent. The build quality feels solid, and it’s reassuring to know that AISIN is the same brand used by Toyota for many of their factory components. No leaks, no issues — just smooth operation. This is the OEM pump installed on Prius(es) in the US at least. If you have one of these OEM ones (also made by AISIN) in your car - be afraid! In fact you will notice the TOYOTA name is sanded off on the one you will get. Replace it with an AISIN at 100K miles. After 100k or even sooner sometimes (if you neglect coolant changes) most of them go bad, they don’t have weep holes, they do not make any symptomatic sounds - see photos of the original on after 180k miles. The magnetic base of the impeller just cracks (just like in the photos), starts rubbing on the internal wall of the pump. If you are lukey - it will still circulate enough coolant for a while, if not - it will just drag and reduce coolant circulation to the point when the engine overheats and blows the head gasket, coolant flows into the cylinder, the rod goes through the engine block wall - you will not know what hit you. You can always replace just the impeller since the pump itself is just an electronic block and has no moving parts – just do a search on Amazon and you will find a bunch of them – wondering why that is that so many are offering them? Now You too know the rest of the story.

This worked and fit perfectly in my 2015 Prius. I followed instructions I found on YouTube. I'm guessing replacing this water pump saved me $1500. I'm also not super mechanical and I found this relatively easy to do. It took me a few hours. If you know what your doing and have experience, it will take you an hour. I made this repair about a month ago and have had zero problems. Great Price as well.

this is an Asin its the OEM manufacture for Toyota even had the Toyota logo on the part that they had to remove for legal reasons i assume. good quality part at half the cost! works great and fits like the original Waterpump keeping temps perfect

I bought another water pump after a major head gasket job replacement and that one failed and over heated my coolant and engine. I bought this as it's been recommended and sure enough, worked like a charm. Car runs smooth and the fit is prefect. If you have a 2014 third gen prius, just buy this one and get the job done right the first time.

at 140K miles....Water pump was not working 100% as temp light comes on often, shop confirmed from scanner it is the pump. The 1st pix is what I removed from the car and it has no Toyota marking on it so it was replace before not by me as I bought the car at 120k. The pump I bought here has a Aisin sticker on the housing. Install was easy and no temp light come on BUT, threw a fixed Check engine light and a fixed Maintenance light, after a few resets, the car slowed down and died while driving. I limped home and bought a OEM pump at $372 with tax. Dealer parts man told me the pump fits from 2012-2022, mine is 2015 V. I think I just got a bad one as there is a small circuit board inside which you can't see nor able to know whats wrong. This alone is worth to buy the expensive OEM pump. New OEM pump installed and no codes and all is good...:-) ending.

Worked out great today! replace my water pump for my 2015 Prius C. 183K, needed preventive maintenance, so I went ahead and replaced it!

Aisin box, aisin marked and stickered. Fixed water pump codes. Great purchase!

This fixed my issue with my 2015 Toyota Prius V. Codes came up with cooling issues. Just be aware there are two electric water pumps. One for the engine and one for the hybrid system. A quick test to see if the hybrid system is working is by going to the left driver side in the engine bay. Open that coolant cap and see if the coolant inside is moving. If it is, then that pump is good. My engine pump after removal was all seized up. Great price compared to the Toyota part, which is legit just this Aisin part.
