Works for my dogs! I use this with Wondercide products too, shake well, it's not for cats, natural, not poison.
The doggie daycare Tails of Hawaii, was using this, we tried it and it seems to work really well, just remember to shake the bottle well before using, that might be why others say it doesn't work/smell good. Hawaii has no winter so fleas are year round and populate like, well, fleas, and for a while we had a huge problem! The cat would bring them into the house and the dogs would naturally pick them while out for our walks. This shampoo can NOT be used on the cat, (but I use Wondercide Flea and Tick and Mosquito Control Spray for Cats Dogs and Home - Lemongrass - 16 oz on her -spray on washcloth, wipe over her, to repel) All get yeast tablets daily, and dogs get the spray too (same application and lemongrass smells nice). We are winning over the fleas!Going the natural way since over time, they didn't have good reactions to the drops and pills. Would you want to ingest or be dosed with poison every month? Nah, I don't think so, so why do it to your beloved pets? Don't find any ticks on them, any yes, they ARE here in Hawaii too - just ask my daughter that found one between her toes once - after sitting right outside my front door in the grass! She totally freaked out! Thought she was dying or so badly injured cause she was screeching so loudly! Lucky for her it really hadn't attached itself firmly yet so wasn't hard to remove, but really! Girls! What drama! The shampoo lathers up easily. I usually give two lather-ups, once with one of the bar soaps like Wondercide Natural Flea & Tick Shampoo Bar for Dogs & Cats to Kill & Repel Fleas 4oz Bar and then with this shampoo. Between the two products, I don't have as much of a problem as I did when using just the drops/pills monthly. I can't prevent the populations outside hitching a ride if they really have it set to do so, but at least I can combat the problem once we are inside. (most fleas that I do notice once we come inside from a walk, are not happy resting which is how it's easy to see them. I figure they must not like the products it they are too busy actively moving around)Hate to say but with Climate Change/Global Warming a fact now, you know it's going to get harder to keep fleas and ticks a bay. But I do suggest you give this a valid trial because Monsanto is already poisoning our Planet, no need to help by poisoning your pets and ultimately yourself in the process. Save the bees.

Best Flea Shampoo
This shampoo actually kills fleas! Highly citrus scented - the dogs (I have two.) didn’t seem to mind. I lathered them up, let the shampoo sit for a few minutes while they got massaged, and saw the fleas fall off of them! Rinsed them off and watched the lifeless fleas float down towards the drain. I would absolutely purchase again and highly recommend this shampoo to immediately rid your fur baby from fleas.

It actually works!
I bought this for my dog because he was having an issue with fleas for the very first time since having him for 5 years. It wasn’t to the point of infestation but I definitely noticed about 5-7 fleas on my dog that was bothering the heck out of him. I bought this and have used it on him 3 separate times, once a week for 3 weeks. The first wash, I noticed that the shampoo was killing the fleas. The fleas did come back within a few days, so I gave him a second wash a week later. After seeing the fleas come back a third time, I was really fed up and could tell my dog was really getting irritated. On the 3rd wash, I really lathered my dog’s coat up and massaged the shampoo into him really good. I used a lot of elbow grease that third time around but it was so worth it! It’s been almost a week (6 days) since his 3rd bath using this flea and tick shampoo and I have not seen a flea return on him at all (knocking on wood)! I used this along with washing my dog’s bedding and blankets, plus vacuuming the carpets weekly for 3 weeks and I think I finally got rid of the issue. I will continue to apply and continue cleaning bedding and vacuuming for a couple more weeks just to make sure that my dog and I never have this issue again. I did not use any oral or liquid flea medication on my dog. Just consistently shampooing, washing bedding, & vacuuming my home. This is worth a try if your dog is not at the “flea infestation” stage and you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for a vet visit and flea meds. And not to mention, my dog’s coat was so soft and he was so fluffy after each of his shampoos. I took one star away because, all though the smell is not bad at all, I think after using this shampoo for 3 weeks in a row, I’ve associated the smell to the flea issue and by the 3rd week of use, I was kind of annoyed with the smell.

Works okay, but not by itself
I really hoped this worked perfectly, as I'm a fan of natural products for my dog, but it fell short of my expectations. I use it on my german spitz-- which is like a slightly larger long haired pomeranian-- and pests get stuck in his coat all the time and the thickness of his coat makes it a little more difficult for products to penetrate down to the skin. It does kill fleas, but not all of them. There's always a good amount that survives; one time after a bath using this product I was able to find 10 live fleas-- and maybe that's on me for not being thorough enough, but I used a good amount of product all over and let it sit as directed on the bottle. I don't even know if it kills flea eggs or not; it doesn't seem to prevent fleas, as I find myself having to give him a bath weekly because he's scratching from fleas so often. If you choose to use this product, I recommend buying other things to help kill and prevent fleas in combination such as a comb, coat spray, or some kind of oral tablet. I will mention I love the scent and lather ability, but they're definitely not the priorities.

Worth Every Penny
This stuff is freaking amazing. After one use the fleas were falling off. Even after they showered. I’d recommend spraying down the towels after with peppermint spray or something that kills on impact as they will jump off the towels. Worth the money spent.
