Would rate 6 stars if I could!
Driver HID bulb went out on my 2006 Acura TSX. I assumed it was only the bulb until I bought a new one and still nothing. After doing some research I correctly assumed it was the ballast that needed replacement. I went on RockAuto and found a good price compared to the STEALERSHIP for $180 dollars. Good thing I checked amazon last minute because WOW! 50 dollars for a ballast with good reviews I thought “what do I have to lose” Worked right away! Excellent value, seemingly good build quality. If I have any issues I will update this post immediately. Keep up the excellent work GenXenon!

Fit perfectly.
I got one of these to fix a headlight on my 2007 Acura TL. Item fit perfectly and works well. Of course a month later the other side went out so I got another one and had the same result. Unfortunately on my car the front bumper cover has to be removed to access them but was easier to remove the second time.

*BE WARE, MELTED MY WIRING* and then almost fried vehicle computer components!! :')
For context; all original lighting equipment had been functioning up until last year (2013 Acura RDX)I do love Acura, and while they're built with reliable Honda blood and then some, they're a pain in the a** to swap xenons on. So when a bulb finally went on the passenger side after 9 years of service; the mutual decision was to swap bulbs, ballasts, and igniters during the feat which involves 4 plastic engine cover panels, 30+ plastic pins, several 10mm bolts, which then finally allows the front bumper to come off. There's really no way around it. The bulbs installed were OEM Osram brand Xenarcs. They really make a difference and are worth it, but with a ballast it typically either works or doesn't. Considering one (1) ballast or "control unit" is $350 direct from Acura while this product offered stellar reviews with an 85% price reduction, I mean in this economy wouldn't you !?? Well 10 months later, the light was out. After finally getting the time to setup that whole process again I was shocked to see the ballast had not only failed but could've started a fire. I've pursued moderate car repairs for 10+ years on domestic & foreign and never seen anything like this. The company should be grateful the computer wasn't fried. Everything was installed perfectly on a vehicle excellently maintained, there is absolutely no reason for anything close to this and considering the bulb IS an OEM part AND lived again after throwing the old 2013 ballast; logic dictates this "QC PASS" garbage to be the culprit.Learned my lesson and would be remiss not to share so no one else gets burned, literally.

Works like it should
At first i was skeptical of buying these aftermarket but since OEM ballast are hundreds of dollars i had no choice. Ive had these installed in my 2005 acura tl for about 4 weeks and so far they work great. They take a few seconds to get to full intensity but that is normal for these types of light. Overall im happy eith these ballasts.

A-1 CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Bought a set of ballasts in Oct 2019 for my 2008 Acura, chose this seller for the price and warranty. Unfortunately, one of the headlights stopped working in January 2020 and my mechanic said the ballast was the failure. I contacted the seller via email the night it happened (thru Amazon) and was happily surprised to see a reply when I got up the next morning! This vendor was responsive and sent me a replacement (even threw in a free igniter) ASAP and trusted me to return the damaged ballast (he sent me a postage paid label). THAT my friends, is how to do business! It was inconvenient to have to replace the ballast, but products sometimes fail. I've been a small business owner for over 15 years and it's nice to know there are still sellers who (like me) stand behind their products and are responsive when there is a problem. I would give them SIX stars, if I could!

Plug & play. Minor issues
Installed today (01/09/19) on a 2010 Acura TSX. Taking off the bumper to get to the bottom of the headlamp housing was the difficult part. Part was plug and play which was nice. If anything changes such as part fails ect will update this post.***update 01/07*****When I first installed it the ballest was fine. Now when it first starts up it makes a slight humming noise. Also, I have knotice that it has a longer start up time than the factory one. There is like a half second delay. The factory ballest that is still installed in the other headlamp will turn on then about half a second later the other side with the new ballest will turn on. Lastly, I have knoticed that when exiting the car there is a delay timer on my headlight so they will stay in for 30 seconds once I exit my car. When I lock the car the lights will turn off then on to confirm. Some time not always when they turn off then on the light with this new ballest will not turn on. Other than that every other time i have started the car or manually turned on the headlights it has worked just fine. All of this doesn’t really bother me because as I said in the initial review it was somewhat difficult to swap out the ballers because of the fact that I have to take off the bumper to get to it.
