I like the Newgate clocks because they fit well in my mid-century modern style home. The bonus is the silent, smooth sweep of the second hand. Reminds me of what I love about automatic watches (no battery), their second hands also sweep smoothly.

Als die Uhr angekommen ist, habe ich mich etwas über die Größe gewundert - ich hatte mir die Maße nicht gut genug angeguckt. Eigentlich ist sie für den vorgesehen Zweck etwas zu groß, aber das Design und die Quantität gefielen und gefallen mir so gut, dass ich sie auf jeden Fall behalten wollte. Sie gefällt mir richtig gut!

Ordered it by accident. I actually wanted a wall clock. They refunded me soon after I returned it. The clock is beautiful too
