* Update!
Updated review! They sent me a new kit and all the bottles were perfect. There is a learning curve ( watch a video ) but it’s pretty forgiving too. I have watched my friend do my nails a couple times, so I had a clue, but it’s not that difficult to do on your own. And if it’s a little lumpy you can buff it down and put a little top coat on. My nails look pretty good for my first try on my own! And if it gets all over the sides of your fingers, as mine did while using my non- dominant hand, it easily comes if with some buffing:) . —-Okay I didn’t know I couldn’t return. I guess that’s my bad, but who would have thought it would all be old and sticky! My friend has the same kit and it’s great. All of the bottles I got are thick and glue like. I put on two nails because I was experimenting and thankfully I did. I thought maybe it was just the base coat and it was supposed to be that glue like? So I kept trying but then I opened the top coat and it is just as thick and sticky and it is still sticky on my nails a half hour later. Now I’m stuck with all this bad product and I have to figure out how to get it off. Bleh. My friend got hers at a Ulta. If you can go the actual store I would do that.

Not quite like the salon, but much better than regular polish
I have terrible nails (thin and split) and decided to give this a go tonight. I did use different brand dip color. The instructions were easy to follow and I’m pleased with the outcome. Sure beats having acrylic tips at the salon because I know my nail underneath is less damaged and the cost is much less. They are thicker than regular nail polish but I know they won’t chip or break. The base coat brush hardened pretty quickly and it caused some clumping. I replaced it and the nail done after turned out great. I wish the buffer was more sturdy or they provided more than one. I think this would be much easier to do to someone else.

But I thought it was just as good as going to the salon
I know people were saying negative things. But I thought it was just as good as going to the salon. I love this product I ordered it yesterday and it said it was supposed to come Tuesday but it came today. It's very easy to apply and it had very easy instructions to follow. I believe it was definitely worth the price even my boyfriend agreed who said that it was way to expensive to go to the salon every two weeks which cost me 70 dollars. I will buy it again when I run out. It might look a little bad but it's my first time and any mistakes that are on my nails is my fault for being a beginner.

Loved it but base coat cap got glued shut and dried out after 3 uses.
I loved the way my nails looked and would like to use this product again, but ordering a new bottle of the base is costly and the one that came with the kit was impossible to open after three uses. I read that the base lid could get glued shut so I was careful to wipe the bottle before I replaced the top, but it still got glued shut. Finally I used a hair dryer and soaked it in acetone and was able to get it off with pliers. I immediately discovered that the contents were solid. The manicure lasted about a week each time I was able to use it. I watched several videos and read "helpful tips" online before trying this and was super careful to avoid the "cap getting glued shut" problem. I like gel better, but the light started burning my fingers so I thought this was a better alternative. I really wanted it to work.

Not sturdy
After 3 days of wearing the polish, three nails split along the top of my nail. I have applied and worn other brands, but didn't expect to have to reapply them so soon.

Gummy Mess, Lumpy and Dull Result
I used Red Carpet Manicure products almost exclusively for my at-home gel manicures because I loved their stuff so much. Naturally, when I ventured into the new world nail dipping, RCM was my first choice. Turns out, not all of their products are created equal! The first time I tried it, it turned out horribly! I had had my nails dipped a few times in a salon and this was far from the same result. I thought it was possibly my inexperience so I held onto hope that, with practice, I could get close to a salon look. I had gotten good at the UV cured gel manicure very fast. After 3-4 times of the RCM dip and two bottles each of the base and top coats, I gave up and tried a different brand. The new, cheaper brand has been flawless. I’m not sure what it is but the base and top coats of the RCM brand seemed to gum up after just one use. I thought maybe I wasn’t letting the activator dry enough or was maybe using too much so I made all kinds of adjustments. Nothing seemed to help. And the brush softener that comes with the kit did nothing to free up my stiff brushes after one or two uses. I followed the instructions included with the kit to a T and never got a good result. Never even good enough to want to keep it on my nails. I still love Red Carpet Manicure for my gel manicure needs but the dipping kit was a total miss for me.

I like it! Dip newbie and I’ll stick with it.
I’ve always wanted nicely manicured nails but never found a product that works well for me. I’ve tried different polishes but either they take too long to dry or it scrapes off on my work like crayon as I work with my hands and papers a lot. I’ve tried gel but I’m really not good at it at all. I decided to try this dip kit and I’m very happy with it. It will take a couple applications to really get it down but I followed the instructions and I was very happy with how simple it was and there’s no major dry time. I do think I need a dusting brush to get more of the excess powder off as the manicure is a little thick. It would be nice if one came with the kit. I ordered one so I’ll be ready with it for the next application. I love that it doesn’t come off on my work like little crayons on my finger tips. It’s only been 2 days so I can’t say anything about how long it lasts or the ease of removal. But so far I’m really liking it and look forward to many beautiful manicures.

Es funktioniert perfekt und die Handhabung ist wirklich ganz einfach. Jederzeit gerne wieder. 😁 Freue mich auch die Bestellung von anderen Farben.

Excellent, very happy with this. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The tubs could do with being slightly deeper, as you can easily lose powder over the top when dipping. Also my brushes have become stuck fast in the bottle after using only once, I have had to use my teeth to open the bottles. And the bottle top has come away from the brush inside, so it ends up being a sticky mess on the fingers when using the brushs.

Nul . Le produit devient gluant au bout de la 2 ème application ... l'application est fastidieuse .... ayant déjà fait faire du gel et de la resine par des pro je pensais faire des économies en le faisant moi même ... mais pas du tout! Je ne m'en reservirait pas ....
