I’m a big fan of these flashlights, I use them everyday, the housing of the flashlight is a high quality lightweight alloy perfect for carrying in your shirt pocket. It gives an ample amount of light in a dark room or is well suited to walk at night with. Not had an issue with any moisture due to its waterproof seals and the push button switch on the back is great for single handed operation. Great product and I am well pleased with it.

I love it I’m a new tech and this is perfect for me it’s durable and really bright and really was not that expensive the only thing that’s not so great is how big it is but it makes up for it in brightness and range would definitely buy again!

Coast products seem superior to any other. This flashlight has a well defined spot at the right intensity.

Would have easily given 5 stars if the batteries didn't rattle a little. Not a deal breaker because I bought another one soon after! Love the focused spot when looking for things in tight areas.

I picked this COAST penlight up for metal finishing and anodizing inspections, and the size has been perfect for that kind of work. It fits easily in a pocket, the beam is bright and clean, and the color temperature makes it easy to pick up surface defects. After three months of daily use, the finish on the light still looks great and hasn’t worn down at all. The only issue I’ve run into is the clicker/membrane button that turns the light on & off. It started acting inconsistent, even though I haven’t dropped the light or mistreated it. Sometimes it won’t turn on unless I unscrew the cap and reseat it, or I have to click the button a ridiculous number of times before it finally wakes up. It’s fixable, but definitely annoying, especially since it’s still pretty new. When it works, it works really well, but I shouldn’t have to fuss with the switch this early, so I’m landing at 3 stars.

Being a professional mechanic this light has been used and abused. I've had this light for a few years and use it daily. The quality is very good the brightness is perfect. The only issue is that it's not rechargeable but the batteries last a while depending on the brand. I would definitely suggest this as a mechanics must have.

I was so pleased with my initial purchase I decided to get another Coast G20 for my vehicle road emergency kit. It puts out a lot of light with only 54 lumens. It puts out more useable light than my old bulb flashlight rated at almost twice the lumens. This torch puts out a consistant beam throughout the circle that highlights and makes things standout like tiny screws or imperfections on the wall surface. It works well for reading printed documents too. The torch is well constructed and should last for years. If you are house hunting an inspection light should be in your pocket or purse.

Although it says inspection torch the light simply isn’t bright enough to pick up much at all in an inspection setting in my line of work. I was quite disappointed given the previous reviews. I changed the battery for one of my own in hopes that was the reason but nothing changed so unfortunately I will not be using this and it was a waste of my money

battery was dead when it arrived, but COAST sent out a new package which arrived very quickly. Great lights, great service.

The light is not that bright, but well suited to finding my camera controls and items in my trunk at night. The design is not water proof, but can likely handle a short term emersion at shallow depth.

This item description states can be used by nurses, doctors, and paramedics. It cannot. It would burn a patients retinas within a couple of milliseconds. The only use I could possibly imagine it would have for these professions would be the permanent blinding of their patient and anyone else within a 20 metre radius. I bought this as I wanted a good, solid, reusable pen light for neuro observations, but am returning it less than a day after receiving it as it is not fit for purpose.
