They’re nice and sharp and feel sturdy but the blade snaps easily , like paper

I really like these metal handle blade cutters by URASISTO. I had another set of six by a different maker and liked them so much I got these. They seem nearly identical, perhaps made by the same factory and just branded differently.These are super-sharp and make any cutting job fast, easy and safe. I use these every day it seems. Opening mail, cutting/trimming all kinds of things around the house, breaking down cardboard boxes, etc.Eventually they do dull and advancing a new cutting edge is easy-peasy. Take the black plastic cap off the end of the cutter. Insert the blade into the groove in the cap end. Pointing away from you, apply pressure at an angle relative to the pre-marked cutting segment and as you bend it it will crack the metal at the mark so you have a new edge. It’s best to do this over the garbage can, so you don’t have to handle the small, sharp piece that breaks off.They have really made that easy and they included a whopping 20 additional blades. For some, this will be a lifetime supply!The fact that the cutting body is metal and has some heft to it really adds value to me. You can’t have too many of these and we place them all over the house and in the garage, ready for our next project.Highly recommended!

This set of utility knives is enough that I’ll probably never need to buy another in my lifetime. You not only get the set of six knives, but also enough spare blades to fill them once or twice over. I didn’t realize the knives were metal until I opened the package although the weight of the package did offer some clue. They feel natural in the hand so you can hold them like a pencil and they have some texture on one side for grip. The blades are sharply slanted--almost like an X-acto knife so you can make concise, clean cuts. I had intended to use them as box cutters, but I’m sure I’ll find many more uses. They cut beautifully through thick paper, cardboard and foam core making them perfect to cut out letters or shapes for crafting. You could also use them to cut out designs in vegetables and other foods in the kitchen. When you need a new blade, simply take the cap off the knife, slip it over the edge of the blade and break it off at the seam and you have a newly sharp blade. At $12.99, I thought they seemed a bit pricey for simple box cutters, but they have shown themselves to be much more than that.

I ordered these to give everyone a general purpose cutting blade, from opening boxes/packages to trimming things down to fit into tighter spaces. These fit the bill!The blades in these knives are WICKED sharp. I haven't yet encountered something that these can't at least put a good cut into, and will melt through anything that a normal utility knife blade can handle. Boxes, clamshell packaging, zip ties, you name it and these knives will cut right through.The safety mechanism is decent, the click-detent system seems viable but I'm not 100% sure it will hold up over time. The classis two-piece design is safer, but not usually necessary given how sharp these blades are: they cut without much resistance.Included are two extra packs full of blades, I think I've probably got a lifetime supply right here!Overall, these knives are perfect all-around cutting tools and I'd recommend them to anyone that uses a utility-style knife regularly. These will definitely replace that haggard, dull pocket knife that you've been sharpening after every other use!

If you don't purchase these URASISTO 6 Pack Utility Knives, Retractable with 30 Degree Snap-Off Blades, at least watch the video that shows how to change the blade and snap off the ends as needed. It is fascinating!! My adult son actually chose this knife set as he uses them for many things around our house.I have also used them and I was happily surprised at how sharp they are. What amazed me, even more, was the way you can snap off the end of the knife blades to get to another sharp blade once the current one has become dull. They will last a long time as each blade has seven sections and there are twenty blades. Unless math has changed, that amounts to 140 blades!!The knives that hold the blades are made of aluminum so they are strong. They lock so the blades won't fall out. Being so sharp, they are perfect for wallpaper, paper artwork, and even sharpening pencils since most of us don't have pencil sharpeners lying around anymore. These handy knives are great for every home and are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

I was extremely impressed with how sharp the blades are and how easy these knives are to use. The plastic endcap did not work as illustrated, and I couldn't even get it right with needle nosed plyers.
