Can't go without anymore
The media could not be loaded. I've been using this non stop since it's arrived. I have found it very accurate. I'm coming from using shims, and this thing is worth its weight. It's saved me a lot of time. The magnets are not strong at all, it will not hold itself up if used in a 90 degree application, but that is not an issue for me.

Works well, but the numbering is weird
This indicator works fine. The only issue I had with it was the way the dial is numbered. It technically tells you that each graduation is .0005”, but it’s easy to overlook that detail. Each rotation which is marked 50 on the face is .025”(50 .0005” steps). Luckily when I tagged my Z height to the 0 on the first rotation and set my Z to +2.2 I caught it before my tool went .100” too far into the part. Other than that minor issue, it’s a really handy tool.

Junk
Not only was it obnoxious that you have to make 4 complete rotations on the dial to hit your 2" mark, but it also didn't even last 2 weeks before the dial imploded and stopped functioning altogether.

Cheap, and reliable so far.
I was worried about how inexpensive it is, and the dial on the side didn't make much sense... but you use 'test' mode to set the indicator's zero position, then 'use' mode unlocks the full range of travel. This protects the device if you overshoot when moving down, so you don't crush the indicator or damage your bit, a nice feature. It's a really great tool, and it consistently with my VMC's DRO, so I assume it's good enough for what I'm working on.

weird graduations, pins not level
Not sure why they chose to make each tick .005. That was confusing AF to start with. But when you are at 5, you have gone down five .0005 increments. Weird, but whatever. Needs to get cleaned out as it is kind of sticky, but after that it is fairly decent.Another thing is that if you want to zero the gauge to the pins so you can set a probe z height to the correct offset, you cant. They are not level. so you can use a flat end to zero the dial gauge to the pins.

Exactly as advertised
Don’t like that it takes 4 full rotations of the dial to get to the desired 2in height but other than that it’s great
