We bought several packs of these for my daughter who had a severe injury as the hospital kept running out of ice packs to give her and as an athlete she wanted to minimise the opioids they were giving her. I took these home and re-froze overnight and then took them into the hospital in a cold box - they were absolutely great: when frozen the still have a little bit of flexibility so can be shaped around a limb if needed. Really helped her with pain management. We are now using them as cold leg wraps for the horses after exercise and they have been very durable and none of the 10 pouches has leaked. These were much better value than any others I could find and held their temperature well when frozen

Not tried these in the freezer yet. I have tried warming one in the microwave. I found that it didn’t stay warm for very long. I prefer my wheat bag or a hot water bottle

I can't give this a better review and I realise it's because I'm an idiot but when I heated it up in the microwave I may have accidentally given it a little bit too much time. When I returned it had burst and the gel had escaped, however, for the times I didn't cock it up. It was an excellent ice and heat compress for my back.

Ideal for both hot and cold, doesn't get frost like the polythene ones do and the rounded corners mean non scratching.
