Have raised the foot of my bed for years with books or throw pillows under the mattress and figured it was good enough. My varicose veins have been throbbing a lot recently making it hard to sleep, so I got this wedge and wow, what a difference. Haven’t woken up from discomfort at all the last several nights after using it. Really should have gotten one sooner.Regarding this particular wedge: It expanded from its squished condensed packaging in about 2 hours. It’s not exactly 8 inches high but more like 7 and a tad. The soft grey cover is on top and sides but the bottom is white and I guess I wish it was all grey. The bottom white fabric has little bumps on it to keep it from sliding around which is good, the zipper on the cover slides well with no problems, and it was odorless.Definitely recommend.

I got it because my easy chair footrest only adjusts up so high and I wanted it a little higher. I might've overshot the mark a little as this one is 10". So for me, it wasn't perfect, but usable.It's nice and smooth--like a velour--at least I think that's what it's called. So that's nice.Maybe it's a little lengthy head to toe, as well, again, for my silly purposes. But the pillow is fine. I would work great to put under your legs in bed. It's pretty firm.It's amazing how they can suck all of the air out and get this giant pillow into a 12x12x8 inch box. I thought, "That can't be it." But once I got the plastic off is swelled right up.

This pillow is comfortable to use post-surgery or when one benefits from lower extremity elevation. I had tried other raised pillows in the past, but somehow this one was just right. (I am a shorter person. I could envision a taller person benefitting from it as well. I experimented with positioning the pillow and liked the results. It's appropriately firm & supportive.)My only complaint is the expense of replacing the washable cover. The cover pills, probably in part from using it with a foot brace.

This Is a amazing product! stay's In place , very comfortable and works great!!! I have been diagnosed with DVT, blood clots In legs, I have to keep legs elevated, I tried using pillows stacked up but that has NO comparison to this pillow, This pillow Is very comfortable, stays in place and makes me feel great after a nights sleep. very happy I ordered this! A great product!! It took a little time to puff up after removing from package but after rising to the normal height It is a awesome product

The quality is good. I had a tear meniscus, and I had to wait 2 months for the artroscopy surgery. It was helpful for pain relief and comfort when king down in bed or in the sofa. Just the right size to lift the leg and the knee. After the surgery it helped me also a lot to rest the leg and to straighten the leg and follow the doc exercises.

I got this for the purpose of fitting at the bottom of my recliner to elevate my legs after spinal fusion surgery 1 week ago. It fits perfectly! I don’t know if it worrks for all recliners. It is taking the pressure off of my lower back also. I am 5 foot six. Ankles are at the end of the pillow. great support. Inflates easily in about 15 minutes.

Much bigger and more sturdy then I expected. I’m 5’2” and it is almost too big. My low back, feet, and knees love it!

There's nothing wrong with the construction and it is sturdy. However, it s a HUGE item and takes up a quarter of a queen size bed. Wish I'd bought a smaller one Also, the white material they use on top started pilling and coming apart immediately.
