It was either get this or throw out my camera Gamble and thankfully this made all the difference.Get this if you've got a new heavier phone and don't want to spend money on a new gimble.

Nice design just what I needed, first one would not clamp up, so it was returned. Ordered another same problem, do I go to the hassle of return and try again? I can balance the gimbal using just the weights. I will decide, not good quality control.

The unit itself is quite small so it does not inhibit the gimble action. The 4 weights are adequate to allow you to get the ballance, that's needed if you are fitting a filter to the phone

I got it installed on my Smooth 4 that was having troubles keeping my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra balanced without falling over regularly from over-stressing the motors. Mostly needed it on the roll axis as the S22 Ultra is so big it sticks out to the left and throws my gimbal off balance. I set this with two weights and pulled the phone out just a BIT to the left to give it full roll balance. Pitch is still off, but the gimble handles that just fine.TL;DR - balance an oversized/heavy phone on your gimbal! Compactness = retail full range of motion. Just plan ahead and test placement.Note - took one "Value for money" star as I've seen this cheaper elsewhere. Bought on Amazon for fast shipping.

Was able to fit so it would swing 180 degrees. The first one I bought could not be placed in standby position.

If your gimbal setup doesn't balance right, this counterweight set is a lifesaver. You get four counterweights, and a clip to attach them with. I didn't use the clip—I have a cage on my camera, so I bolted the weights on directly, and it worked like a charm. Not much else to add, except to note that the weights aren't that heavy, so it really is just for fine-tuning your rig.

I got the Camkix counterweight set to use with my Zhiyun Smooth Q. The kit is easy to use once you determine its optimal placement.The Smooth Q won't fit in its EVA case with the counterweight attached, but fortunately, there is enough room to store the counterweight under the phone clamp compartment. Reattaching the counterweight before use takes mere seconds (just remember where it needs to go).For my setup, I found a location that does not interfere with the gimbal's range of motion. I'm sure the kit will outlive the gimbal thanks to its metal construction and remain useful for a future device. I can't ask for more.
