Flavor varies from bottle to bottle
I originally did a ton of research and thought this to be the best option for a high quality olive oil for health benefits. I had been taking a shot of olive oil before bed but was using my grocery store bottle and realized I wasn't really doing myself any favors. Seeing that this is 30x higher in hydroxytyrosol polyphenols...I figured it was worth the price tag. I added it to my cart as a monthly subscription. The first little, dark glass bottle I received - the flavor was amazing! It literally tasted like olives. In my book - that is what olive oil SHOULD taste like. I was so excited about it but that was the only bottle that had that flavor. Every bottle since that one has been more muted and subtle, just like the oil I get at the store. I do not have a clue why this would be but I am really hoping that going forward I will get bottles that taste like that first bottle I received. Because of the cost I do not use it in my cooking because it is a very small bottle. If I had a money tree I would definitely cook with it!

Quality
Great product. I bought it for the antioxidants & take 1 tablespoon daily straight & the taste is not bad. I will be buying more. Arrived as scheduled & well packaged.

The best I've had by far. Super complex flavor
Literally my new favorite flavor!! 11/10 Actually tastes like olives, which is rare for olive oil lol. Definitely high end. Yes you could say it kinda has like a tire taste to it too, but that's how you know it's the good stuff, a flavor that reminds me of expensive whiskey. Definitely high in polyphenols, feels smooth bubbly and peppery.

Great Olive Oil for Health But Very Expensive
The polyphenols in this olive oil are off the chart! If you sip olive oil for health benefits, you could hardly find a better one. It doesn't taste very good, and I for one would not use it in a salad of for other food or cooking-elated purposes. I think it is a daily sipper for overall health; something like a vitamin supplement. Only problem is that it is very expensive and you could very easily go through the small bottle in about two weeks-- maybe three. Each individual has to decide on the cost-benefit analysis. I have gone over to other Atlas Moroccan olive oils for the price relief. Still-- highly recommended.

Taste is not for everyone
Sellers report excellent nutritional qualities. Some people may like the smoothness. I find it bland and tasteless. Considering how extremely expensive this is, I'm going to stick with my favorite brand, Garisar. BTW, the bottle is much smaller than it appears in the photo: only 8.45 liquid ounces,

Tastes the way poo smells. Buyer beware!
Can I give a zero star review? I was excited to try this as have been trying high phenolic olive oils with great enthusiasm to help lower cholesterol - but honestly, on the first slight taste I gagged. It's disgusting. The bitterness is one thing, which I could tolerate - but the best way to describe this stuff (what else to call it) that it tastes the way poo smells. I tried a finger dip in it again today, thinking maybe my taste buds had been off - but no. Revolting. Produced in May this year, which makes its claim of being made from first crop olives, which are picked in September, suspect, it's supposed to be "best before 08/28".
