Beard Balm for Men, Nourish and Soften New Beard Growth and Short Beards

The smell of Cypress and vetiver was really well done here. People have a tendency to mix vetiver with quite a lot of fragrances many of which are very specific. This one appeals to almost everyone. I'd say it lasts for about an hour. But it's a chill scent it doesn't overwhelm it's just enhancing. As far as the balm itself, Prorasso always makes a good product and this one was no different.

I decided to give this a try based on their Shaving soap. I am glad I did. This, while on the expensive side, is worth it. Very pleasant scent (like old time barber as others have said). Wood and Spice. The scent is noticeable, but not overpowering and lasts through the day. It mellows through the day, but is still there at day's end. I wouldn't recommend cologne on top of this though As far as balm factor, it definitely softens the initial beard growth and takes away that itch factor. Helps the hair lay down and keeps it under control as it grows. I think I will continue to use this even after the initial stages. Definitely a noticeable difference in beard softness As someone else said, I wish it didn't have the plastic cap on the glass bottle, but that's a small complaint, not enough to remove a star for. If you like the Proraso shaving soap, give this a try

This is my favorite beard product smell so good. My girlfriend always tells me how good it smells when I use it.

This is the first beard lotion/balm I've ever tried. And it is very soothing to the skin under my beard. Also, the scent (wood & spice) is excellent. I can't say enough about the product. However, the glass bottle and plastic cap are exceedingly lacking. I cannot get the cap to securely tighten on the bottle. I twist it clockwise until it is tight. But, the cap backs off after I let go. When I go to pick it up again, the cap is loose! Took it on a trip with me. And fortunately I put it in a plastic zip up bag. The product leaked out into the back during the trip. Very disappointing. If you are not worried about it drying out, which I don't think it will, it is fine to sit on your bathroom vanity or medicine cabinet shelf. But, it is not travel-friendly. For this reason, I have to take away one star from a perfect 5 rating.

I purchased for my husband. Since he’s added to his beard routine, his beard hair is softer and he smells very nice.

I think all Proraso products are great. This is no exception. It does have a very strong woody smell but I enjoy it. And it works well in the beard softening it.

I use this as a facial moisturizer and beard softener. Love the scent and it leaves my skin feeling rejuvenated. The fragrance's presence persists for hours while it's intensity becomes more subtle at day's end. The only reason for a missing star is due to it's packaging. The plastic screw top does not stay on at all even after using moderate torque to secure it to the glass body. I was fortunate to catch this issue before a spill could occure in my gym bag. 06-01-18 Update I found a solution to the screw cap issue. I used a piece of silicone tape(plumbing section of hardware store) and wrapped it up tight, one time around the glass threads. This solved the loose cap issue perfectly. I deducted one star from my original 4star because, I feel that at $20 a bottle, I shouldn't have to figure out a solution to a simple concept. I'll still reorder for the excellent product.

The Italian company PRORASO!out of Firenze offers a full line up of shaving products. I enjoy the full rich lather that my German shaving brush creates when using their dish of shaving soap. This is the second after shave balm I’ve used. The lotion feels different reflecting the ingredients Proraso uses. Rather slippery yes, but it is easy to apply and it absorbs well. The scent is not overwhelming and is unlikely to anger anyone sharing your space. I prefer the balm because I’m aging, so to speak so I don’t need the bracing effect of an alcohol based aftershave. 嫁におじさんの匂いがすると言われました。。。

Tengo la barba un poco china y por tanto áspera, desde la primera aplicación quedó suave y manejable, además tiene un aroma a maderas muy varonil. Al peinar la barba con el producto, es súper fácil. Ya había probado otras marcas y ninguna Yam efectiva cómo está. También le da un poco de brillo

Bon produit
