This ID holder is sturdier than a lot out there and holds the cards well, but suffers from scratching. I wish it was an open frame because sand and dirt gets inside of the frame from the top and back, which leads to scratches to the badge holder and your ID Cards. It will look good in the beginning, but will get scratched and cause scratches to your Badge within weeks. I work construction and need to display my ID openly at my current site, and if you work in a clean office it may be better, but items like keys and even metal parts on a lanyard, will scratch the outside quickly.

Makes my work life so much easier

Garbage. Didn't even last 3 months before it broke. The loop should have been reinforced with a metal ring at the very least. Wearing it on a retractable belt clip 2 days a week, and it doesn't hold up. Save your money.

UPDATE 4/22/24 Upon posting my review, the seller reached out to me and apologized about my experience, as well as offered a full refund, despite the facts that I never asked for a refund and that the purchase was outside of the refund window. I appreciate this customer service, and I will keep an eye out for an updated product from them that addresses this identified weakness. ******************************* I bought these to replace and upgrade the badge supplied to me by my employer, which broke after a few years of use. I liked how they appeared to be heavy duty, and I liked that they came in a pack of 2. However, I am very disappointed to report that they are not made as well as they look. After about 3 months of use, the top part where they key ring goes broke, rendering this badge useless. I am careful with my things, taking care not to abuse them or use them in a rough manner. With normal use, this badge did not hold up. It did not last as long as the badge I had from my employer, which I had sought to replace with these badges. I have just transferred my ID card to the second badge of the 2-pack, and I will see how long it lasts. The place where the key ring goes is a weak point. It is made of two small, thin plastic parts that are prone to breaking. These need to be redesigned or reinforced.

Es lo que muestran, es duradero y aunque se raspa fácil no es nada que sea visible fácilmente, se ven más las rayaduras de mi tarjeta. Si recomiendo enrollar un poco de cinta a la hora de poner la argolla en el soporte para evitar que se raspe.

It works as described. My employee card is now protected but the holder still allows for magnetic uses. The clearness of the holder also allows to scan my barcode that is on my card to be able to punch-in at work. And it really is sturdy. Now, my card won't bend if I sit on it by mistake. I'm really satisfied with my purchase.
