GreenPan Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Reversible Waffle Plates for 6-in-1 Contact Grill and Griddle, Dishwasher Safe, PFAS-Free

I absolutely love this griddle. I've made everything from burgers, veggies, chicken, etc. It works great and the plates are easy to clean. It's definitely a chore to clean the rest of the griddle if you're making something that's pretty fatty but worth it in my opinion. I would purchase again and recommend.

Our George Forman died after 14 years (no joke) of at least weekly use. We are sad! So I did lots of research to find our replacement and I decided on the Green Pan Indoor Grill. We have their pots and pans and LOVE them. I like that they do not use the chemical and horrible for us Non-Stick junk. So when this grill arrived we could not wait to use it.We read all the directions and found it odd that the drip tray was in the back (unlike the front on the Forman) and the unit does not Tilt (ie helping the grease drain). We put 2 regular size hamburger patties on it and watched it work.First thing we noticed is that the Grease does NOT drain well. Not well at all. As I said the unit / cooking plates are Level and not Tilted. And when we opened the lid to check on the burgers, the grease from the top plate dripped / splattered all over our counter. NOT GOOD. The burgers cooked nicely and tasted great. But the Greasy mess was not something we had been expecting or used to with our Forman. Tonight we tried again... again it was 90% lean burgers. But AGAIN it was a Greasy Mess! It dripped and splattered all over our counter (and the unit itself). Ughhhhh. So very sad it's a Bust. We are cleaning it up and sending it back for a full refund! We are very disappointed! It might work perfectly for non-greasy items likes chicken or pork or sandwiches. BUT NOT for Burgers or Steaks or Bacon! Sad!

Excellent for quick meals; steak, eggs, grilled chicken, burgers; if you can grill it, O recommend this.

With yet another Foreman grill losing its non-stick coating, we decided it was time to look for something with a true ceramic coating instead. This grill has that, and is also better in various other ways: 1) the top and bottom ceramic plates are identical and interchangeable, 2) the plates are larger than on the Foreman grill being replaced, making it easier to fit everything we wish to cook at once, 3) the plates are dishwasher-safe, 4) the plates are reversible from grill to griddle, and the unit can be used to cook either closed or open.One trick we've found is that we can skip the preheat cycle, and just put our food in cold, and it will still be cooked properly after 7 minutes, just like in the Foreman grill. Or you can let the grill preheat to 450 degrees, and then it only needs to cook for five minutes.Only negative so far is that some juices did somehow get under the lower grill plate and were very difficult to clean out from next to the heating element.

I ate up all the grilled veggies I Meade within four days and I grilled 8 bell pepper, 4 Zuchinni, 2 crookneck squash, and a few potatoesThose peppers are especially easy to eat. I love this grill so much- I’ve only used the grill side, not the flat side yet but I love it- and looking forward to trying paninis next.I am saving up for the waffle traysIt’s great, and I do suggest to lightly coat the first few veggies with oil. I found i didnt need to coat all the veggies since I did the first few (a little excessively admittedly, but a little oil goes a long way)

These plates are great space savers! I was able to cut down on the number of appliances in my kitchen because of these. They’re also one of the few ceramic options for waffle makers, which makes them seem healthier than the competition.

Do not purchase this! I bought originally back in May and it worked great then completely died in October for no reason, wouldn’t turn on or anything. The warranty covered it and I got a new one in November, here we are in January and the same thing happened again, completely dead. The warranty will only cover the original purchase so now I’m less than a year out from purchasing this and it’s useless. The only reason I gave it two stars is because when it did work I liked it.
