Daiya Mozzarella Style Shreds, 5 lb

Great non dairy cheese to use in anything you would usually put regular cheese in or on. It was on time. It was delivered cool packed. It melts and has regular cheese texture.

Check the nutritionfacts.org website and search for the two ingredients in here that are strongly correlated with bowel disorders- titanium dioxide and xanthan gum. They may adversely affect the bowel microbiome. Too bad because I've had a pizza with this cheese and it tasted reasonably good. Most of the ingredients are fine but not those two, which could be harmful in small quantities.

This cheese does taste somewhat like real Mozzarella, and it does stretch some when heated. So I am happy with it. You have to be careful not to overcook it.
