For any smart home enthusiasts: I was able to convert 12 of these to use ESPHome using tuya-cloudcutter in 07/2023. Makes is really great to use with HomeAssistant. There's always a risk the internal electronics design will change in the future, but it worked for me on this batch.As to physical review: the lenses sit fairly low in the metal housing, so they spread light a little wider than my original cans. It's not too bad, just noticeable where they are close to a TV and spread light wider than I'd like.

The 3rd one I plugged in shorted out instantly. Be aware you get what you payed for.

This product is amazing and I recommend it. I have purchased over 200. I have had about a 15% failure rate after 6 months. But the manufacture replaced everyone right away. I also noted the new ones had a slightly different connector so I had to replace the box too. I'm thinking they likely made a change and the new ones will last much longer. Thank you manufacturer for doing such a great job replacing the ones that failed.

We love these lights. The yellow-ring mode is great for winding down and watching TV. Easy enough to pull them down and change the main/white color if you're not sure what you want when you install them.Two lights in the box were defective, which I only found out after they were all installed, of course. It was a bit difficult to figure out how to replace just 2 lights when they only come in a box of 12. Eventually an Amazon rep figured out they could send me a new pack of 12 for free, then I could take 2 working lights out and install them, and then I sent the rest of the package back along with the 2 defective bulbs from the original box.The lights themselves deserve 5 stars; but the quality control was clearly lacking. If I need to replace any other can lights in my house, I'll consider these first.

I would give these 5 stars but they have one feature that really isn't necessary for our use. There is one setting where the down-light and the nightlight are both on, and we really don't use that. It adds one step in the process of going from normal lighting to amber nightlight. But the down-light is wonderful (we keep it on the lowest lighting), and the amber nightlight is great for morning, or late in the night.

Lights are bright in every wavelength of color. Nightlight is bright orange as well. I bought used ones. They were repacked horribly. Some in bubble wrap... some not. Of the 6 i needed right out the box, 2 were broken at the place where the wire connects to the light. I tried to replace them and found there are no returns. I planned on buying more and replace all the lights on my house and found these are no longer avaliable for purchase. I contacted the seller and they refunded 8 dollars for the damaged lights. I was then contacted by the seller asking about someone else's negative post. Looks like others have the same issues with the repacking of the used lights. The box did come smashed on one corner and looked like ups had taped it closed. Overall lights are great. Wish the employees cared more about the company and product

I bought similar lights at a previous home and they were better quality. These work well and are fine just not the quality of a more expensive version.

I originally seen a similar set of lights at Lowes with the build in nightlight. Purchased those for about $23 a piece but they didn't work in my home for some reason. I then went on Amazon to see if I could find any and found these. I think these are an excellent buy for the price and quality. I installed each one in less than 2 minutes. I have the nightlights on every night and boy does it make it easy on the eyes waking up when it's dark. Kids also love it too now that they can see when they wake up on the middle of the night for water or to use the restroom. I also love having the ability to change the lighting style from warm yellow lighting to bright white lighting. I highly recommend.

Very good quality lights. They are bright, and they dim beautifully with no flicker with my dimmer switches (which are Lutron Diva DVCL-153P-WH-2-C). On the main light, the tuneable colour through the range from warm white to daylight white is better than any other LED I’ve ever installed. My only complaint is that I don’t really like the colour of light from the nightlight ring. We use the nightlight feature while watching TV and wish we could tune the colour away from yellow to anything else. The photos in the description show the nightlight feature as a nice warm golden hue, however in reality, it’s a bit of a funny yellow colour. I’m hoping there will be a new generation of these where you can adjust the nightlight colour too.
