Sharper Image Sound Soother Wind, White Noise Machine with LED Glow

I bought this for my mom who likes to sleep with a fan on but didn't like how cold the fan made her. She likes it. She uses it every night and sleeps better now. It's really simple to use and adjust the sound tone. The night light feature is pretty cool, but she doesn't use it with the light. Keep in mind this is not a digital sound generator. It simply has a fan inside. For its size, it's pretty loud but it's just about right for sleeping. Good purchase.

I like this nightlight/white noise Gadget. The fan on it is so minimal you can run this during the winter months. Unlike a normal fan that gives you the noise but is too cool for winter time. I have enjoyed my gadget and have even bought one for family member. Helps drowned out other noises when trying to sleep as well. Like it alot.

Drowns out snoring and weird hotel noises.

This is a different sounding white noise machine. Basically just sounds like a "whooosh" and not a tone, it that is what you are looking for. I got this becasue it is advertised to be able to change "pitch." I think I have discovered that my earnoise is closest to "violet noise," which is higher than white or blue. I was looking forward to matching this sound machine to the sound that invades my ears, but that did not happen. THis is basically a wind tone that you make louder or softer, and open or closed sound... and that is about it. I have ear noise, but my hearing is still good,and I find this device to be quite loud! I was able to sleep with it on, but I didn't feel any benefit or anything to help with easing my ear sound. You might like this. At least there are no weird sounds (which is a good thing) like fog horns, and loud water dripping in a sink, or insects that won't shut up... I am sorry, but, who wants to hear that all night???

Works great for my tinnitus. Helps me sleep. Love the sound of white noise!
