Make sure you buy the UK version. I have seen negative reviews from people who have obviously bought the EU version and have run into problems as a result. I had initially intended to buy the Hue strip but gave this a try based on cost. I cannot compare the innr versus the Hue as I only have the innr. The quality of the strip itself was a real surprise. This is a really solid piece of kit. In use, it is much brighter than I expected. My strip is connected via my Hue bridge. Connection couldn’t have been easier. Worth noting the strip can only be bent in one plane, but this didnt cause problems on my install. The bend radius is surprisingly tight Only negative for me was around the length of the power cables (shorter than ideal for my instal). An extension for the low voltage section is available but this is expensive

Plug will not fit an outdoor socket. Temperamental when used with hue bridge, sometimes does not work with routines. It always made my hue lights in the same room not function correctly.

Forget cheap and nasty light strips. This is a seriously impressive piece of kit. When I opened the box, I couldn’t believe how heavy it was. When I started to unpack it, I began to understand why. The light itself is in a heavy plastic body, and there’s a rather weighty power transformer plus the remote control unit, all linked by solid waterproof connections and terminated with a UK plug. I connected it to my Zigbee-enabled Echo Plus at the first “discover” attempt and within just a few minutes of unpacking it, and via my beloved Alexa, was able to talk it through it’s gamut of colours and shades of white. I have yet to install it on the wall in my Garden, but with the12 supplied clips (4m strip light) I have no doubts it will look the mutt’s nuts. I intend to create an Alexa routine to turn it on at sunset, wait 4 hours, then turn it off. Nice.

Great light strip, really bright and consistent along the whole length. Easy to install and link to my existing Hue bridge and Alexa. Also worked well with "LightDJ" app to sync to music. Really well made and certainly rugged enough to use in the garden.

Great product, have now bought 2 and they light up the garden beautifully. The only downside I can find to these is that one set keeps going unresponsive in the Hue app and has to be rest every so often. A fairly small price to pay when considering the saving over the official Hie product though.

Works a treat, links perfectly with the Philips Hue app and bridge. This generation of Innr hardware is so far ahead of where they were, and while it's not as cheap as it used to be, it's a definite alternative to the Hue products. Their range is reduced, but their bulbs and strips are very good.

I wanted to install it today and it does not work. I bought it in 2024 before building works at home.

Easy to install and pair to an echo, you will need a hub if you only have Dots. The lights are plugged into a garden room then run out into the garden on a 5M extension, no issues with control, Dot is approx 10m away from the Inrr receiver. So happy with it we have bought another, just a shame they can not be daisy chained.
