Energizer CR2016 Lithium Battery 3V, 5 Pack

These batteries goes to my pets flashlight collar. They last a long time before I need to change the batteries. Shipping is really quick, the overall price and value is good.Placed an order on 07/19/2023 and first time the package never came. I got a refund no problem and is now shopping in store.

I always have a new, fresh battery or 2 with me in my range bag, just in case when shooting at the range. Nothing worse than no sites-no dot on a bright day. These inexpensive batteries seem to hold up and last fine for my needs mentioned and save me $ over the other brands at stores. I keep all my batteries in a container in the refrigerator for years with great lasting success.

The car remote for my Toyota uses the CR2016 battery and these fit perfectly in the remote.These are labeled as ECR2016 which is energizer's brand name for CR2016 batteries. This is a 3V battery like all the lithium-ion batteries.These are lithium batteries (lithium is used as the cathode while Magnesium dioxide is the anode.) and have a high energy-to-weight ratio, which means they provide a lot of energy relative to their weight as compared to alkaline and silver-oxide batteries.Another characteristic that these batteries have is that they have a flat discharge curve, which means that provide near constant voltage until they discharge quickly over a short time instead of gradually discharging over a long time. So they are quite suitable for stuff like watches that need accuracy instead of gradually slowing down over a long period.WHAT IS CR2016International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) assigns each type of battery a code, which is described in IEC 60086 document. The code for this battery is CR2016 which comprises of C,R,20,16. Each of these has a significance as follows:C - specifies that this is a Lithium-Manganese Dioxide batteryR - Specifies the shape which in this case is Round. Other shapes are Flat (F), Square (S), and Not Round (P)20 - specifies the value of diameter in millimeters. The diameter of this battery is 20mm.16 - specifies the height of the battery in tenths of millimeters. The height of this battery is 1.6 mm.CAN THIS BATTERY REPLACE ANY LITHIUM-ION COIN BATTERYProbably not, unless it is of the same dimensions. The first important thing about this battery is the dimensions (which is 20 mm diameter and 1.6 mm height.) If the battery you are trying to replace has the same dimensions and is also a Lithium-ion battery then you may be able to replace some other battery with this one.For instance, CR2032 batteries are very similar to CR2016 other than the fact that they are 3.2 mm in height. So the car remote for which I purchased this battery did not have clearance for 3.2 mm high battery.However, if you are using a holder in DIY project like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J5FY2GI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , these can accommodate batteries of different dimensions. So you might be able to replace a battery with similar dimension.However, this is a 3V battery so don't use these to replace a battery f different voltage (e.g. SR621 which are1.5 V batteries)

I replaced the batteries on 3 watches. Easy peasy.Better and cheaper than taking then to the jewellery store and I know they are going to last because they have excellent expiration date.Very cost effective. Very happy.

These batteries work well in a variety of devices from PC motherboards to remote controls. No DOAs in the packages. 👍🏾

The batteries fit in our truck key-Bob. They last for years!

I was beginning to think that it was the gadget (hygrometer) that was the problem. But, it turns out that it was the quality of the battery. Will keep this in mind in the future.

I’m impressed with the value of these batteries. Although I couldn’t find an actual ‘best if used before’ date, the packaging is marked “2016 Energizer” so they appear to be relatively fresh.I also looked up Energizer’s online product data sheet for the CR2016 lithium battery. It includes graphs detailing the battery’s simulated application test results, typical discharge characteristics, internal resistance characteristics and appropriate safety measures. Simply put, these pint-sized batteries pack a punch - they are small, lightweight and effective.*Energizer’s product data sheet responsibly emphasizes the importance of keeping these lithium coin batteries out of children’s reach. In addition to being a choking hazard, if accidentally ingested there’s a very short time window to get medical help. (Battery compartments for products that use these should either require a screwdriver or coin, or at least two independent and simultaneous movements to open the compartment).
