These are wonderful connectors that are very useful for a wide variety of projects from UTV trailers to 3d printers. The connectors are waterproof and very stable with a locking tab that strongly secures the connection even with tons of bumps and knocks. The "not for the novice" part comes in with the soldering. The best advice or how to that I can give is this. Pre tin your wire, drop a bit of flux in the appropriate pin end, slide the wire end in and fill in with solder. The process needs to happen quickly when you have the iron heating the pin as the plastic housing can melt a bit.I have used 4 of these 4 pin units so far and plan to use alot more in the future!!

Perfect connector for extending my camper video camera from trailer hitch to car. Clean connection and hold firm. Great quality and could not have found a better one.

I bought 2 of these so I could have a quick connect setup for a homemade battery box. When I first looked at them I thought my wires were going to be too small for the plug to grip the wire and prevent it from slipping. Boy was I wrong it snugged up really well and the wire doesn’t move at all once securely tightened. I would buy more of these in a heartbeat if the need ever comes up again

The connectors seem to be well made but they fail to tell you that you have to solder the conductors to the terminals in the plug. The manufacturer went cheap instead of using a socket with a key to secure the conductors.

Made with quality material. A little tricky to get everything together, but it can be done in a few minutes if you think it through. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the lugs where the wires attach. They are pretty flimsy. A little bit bigger would have made sodering unnecessary.UPDATE. You had better be good at soldering. The attachment points are not only small but fragile. You cannot plug anything into them or plug them into anything. It's pretty much Solder or nothing.

Bought 3 so far. These are the best for connecting electronics that needs to be quickly connected and disconnected. Waterproof when connected, when not connected just use rubber tethered cap for the stationary end. I’m using these on a small boat, but with such solid quality, they can be used for way more expensive boats or other bigger serious projects. I know I would.

Have not soldered the wires up at this time, however the build quality is very nice. Every component fits as expected and O-ring's seal tight as they should. Looks to be Industrial use capable from my experience. I will certainly purchase again.

I wanted to use it as a quick connect on a 3 wire, 220v submersible pump. It was way to small for my needs, no usable for me. I thought the description was misleading, that's why I rated it at 3 stars.

Very surprised with the quality of this connector. Wasn’t expecting much from being an off brand copycat but looks are deceiving. This is very solid, well built and will last for my application. For indoor use, i wouldn’t thing twice about reordering this product.
