This is a great little travel palette. It seals pretty well and keeps the paints wet for quite a while. In my case with occasional misting of water I managed to have my gouache colours workable for more than a month. The water holder expands to hold a descent amount of water and has some holes for holding brushes on the side. The paint mixing area is obviously quite small, but is more than adequate and challenges me to be more organised about my paint mixing and application. It is so convenient to open and start painting, that I use it at home any time I have a few minutes spare and feel like doing a quick sketch.

My travel palette paint box is amazing! Just the thing I need when I want to go out and paint during my travels. It's small but the paint wells are deep enough to hold my gouache for weeks if not months (if I clean the palette and revive paints regularly). It comes with a silicon seal that fits over each individual square which helps keep the colours from drying out and contaminating each other (always helpful). Finally the brush cleaner pot that holds water also holds my brushes. This all means less things for me to carry when I'm on the go. Great idea for any budding artist who would like to start painting outside or even a professional.

I bought this with the collapsible water bowl, and it does work very well. I go to classes one a week, and this does keep the paint moist, as long as it was not just a very small amount, the it can dry out over he week. I do find opening it can be fiddly, and to be honest I have not got used to that yet, and I am concerned I might damage it. Otherwise, saving me money.

This small palette actually holds large volume of gouache. The silicone cover keeps gouache moist for use between sessions. Use of dilute clove bud oil cab keep damp gouache free from mold as CBO is an excellent mold deterant. The white lid can be used as a palette and the water pot hold mutch water. I use mine every week and have done since purchasing it. Because if the depth of each well I don't need to top up the gouache very often and it is much easier than carrying lots of tubes with paint dots on palettes that dry up and drop off easily into the depths of your bag.

I probably go for a month at most of not opening this and rewetting yet my gouache still remains wet.

Secure, tight fitting seal and the water container is an excellent addition. Well worth the money.

Didn’t keep paint fresh they all dried out. The rubber protecter has warmed from touching paint. Don’t waste your money.
