PMX-1100 Power Conditioner/Surge Sequencer 10 Protected Outlets and 3 Zones 15A with USB Charger

Been a techie and audiophile all my life and spent mega bucks on "clean power" surge protectors for my computers and sound systems and this one really works. Have an early 70's Marantz setup with a 6300 turntable that constantly buzzed at mid volume. Tried several of the afore mentioned protectors and nada. Plugged it into the analog socket and the buzz was gone and I cranked at three quarters volume without incident. Has plenty of sockets for each of the three groups plus two unswitched in the front. Love this unit. Have it it my karaoke / dj gig rack ... and put the anaolog (tv, and computer in the 1st set.. mixer and mics in the second set.. and the powered speakers in the third set of outputs). When I turn it on Set 1 turns on (TV, computer), then 5 seconds later set 2 (mixer), then 5 seconds later - set 3 (powered speakers). Turning it off the speakers are off first, then the mixer, then the computer and tv monitor. I love that it does this automatically, and works spectacularly. I do plug it in to a Furman Power Conditioner (SS6B) ... unsure if that is required, but better to be safe than sorry.

Very simple design, works very well and is super stable. Currently running 2 Crown XTI amps on first stage, Presonus Digital Mixer with audio injector and a rack PC on second stage, and 5 Shure wireless mics on third stage. All my devices sequentially turn on and off smoothly, sound system has gotten a little bit less noisy now. Sequencer works only through the main power switch in front, cutting power to the Conditioner just shuts down everything at the same time. No sequencer adjustment switch needed though, turns all 3 stages on and off with a 3 second delay in between stages which feels just right. If you are looking for a simple Sequencer/Conditioner that works well for a decent price this is totally the one for you.

This is a great value power conditioner/surge protector. I have been using this with my mid-fi audio system for about a month, and so far I am very satisfied. My power amp (cost about $1600) had a bit of hum (may be a ground loop), but I didn't have any other outlet to plug in. After installing this the hum is pretty much gone! It is also easy to manage the cables now comparing with a regular power strip. A USB power port is also a plus (works well for Wiim streamer). Only downside is LEDs are so bright, that I needed to cover them with a tape.

I wanted to power on my HiFi system with a single switch. There are multiple components to be sequentially powered: analog active crossover first, followed by streamer, DAC and preamp. Last is the sub. This unit does the job and on its first day, works just as expected. Hopefully it will last 10 years!

I really liked this product, it did eliminate the noise our of my home studio. But it died about a year after I bought it. I don't know if other people had the same experience but that makes me think I should just go with a Furhman since they will last you forever.
