These books are great fun and bring the parts of speech to life. I am very excited to use them in my classroom this year. They are definitely worth the investment.

Nice books to teach kids grammar and parts of speech! I use it to teach an advanced group of 1st graders. Some of the books go into very specific types of nouns/verbs/etc, so for primary grades I just skip the details and read it as more of a “teach by repetition” book. Read them 50 adjectives in a fun colorful book and they’ll start to figure out what kinds of words you’re looking for!

As an educator who not only home educated my own children but will also be starting a small micro school-Resources like this are worth their weight in gold. No longer is grammar (or math) boring.These books help bring it to life and help pique the interest of elementary aged children

Some book pages were printed incorrectly. 2 pages were printed on one page in a few of the books. Still a really good deal though and great learning device.

It’s great quality books. I’m 3rd grade teacher and excited to teach these grammar to my students! The silliness of words used make teaching boring grammar more interesting. My favorite feature is that it has an anchor chart on the first page to define the word which is a plus.

Such cute books. My 3 and 4 year old already love a few of them and since we re-read books a million times I like that they might actually be learning something. I love the rhymes and don't get annoyed with them like I do with most kids books.

I had decided to quit teaching, so I had a garage sale. All of my CATegorical books sold. I then was offered a position. I accepted, and immediately regretted selling these books. Thankfully, Amazon had them in a reasonably priced package, and I snapped them up! These are wonderful for teaching grammar and word usage!

I start off with a read aloud and the kids love the funny illustrations. This is a great way to activate prior knowledge and the rhyming and humorous illustrations are a great hook.
