I've had a Le Creuset casserole dish for years, and as much as I love it I can't cope with the weight of it now due to arthritis. I purchased this as it looks similar to the Le Creuset and I am really pleased with it. It's a great size, lightweight and good value for money. It also washes up really well. My only minor gripe is the lid, as it doesn't suction at all, so you can't fill it to near to the top. I like to batch cook, and freeze, but this may be a bit tricky. Overall it's a great casserole dish and I recommend.

Light as a feather and very sylish. I bought this as M&S had run out of a very similar product which cost more. I was looking for something that wasn't boring grey. Perfect for frying onions / meat etc on the hob, then oven or hob cooking casseroles, then on the table to serve family and friends. Good enough for a dinner party. So easy to clean and the handle holders are really useful. One teeny criticism, it would look better with a red handle. We have an induction hob and it's dishwasher safe, though wiping it out is just as easy.

I do a fair amount of batch cooking - soups, stews, curries, etc, - but found the largest saucepan I had wasn't as large as I needed. Not only that it would often boil over making a right old mess. So I did some research. Not only did the colour match my kitchen - an added bonus point - but it held 12 portions of spag bol. OK, so I'm a bloke but it is nice to know I have up to a dozen ready prepared meals in the freezer if unexpected guests arrive, especially those bringing a good red wine! This casserole dish is a godsend. It can be used for almost anything. It is very well made and will last a lifetime. The other thing to note is that it so easy to clean. I've used it a lot and it still looks like new. It costs a little bit more than some of the others I looked at but it is money well spent.

This casserole dish is very large, lightweight and very easy to use. However, the lid is also very lightweight (which is to be expected), but unfortunately, possibly because of its light weight, it does not appear to seal very well and the first few casseroles that I cooked came out rather dry, as a lot of the gravy had evaporated. My solution has been to use a cartouche (a circle of baking paper placed directly on top of the stew) and then a double layer of foil over the pot and the lid pushed in on top. Using this method, my casseroles have come out very well and the sauce is still there when the meat and vegetables are cooked. All in all pleased with the pot, and it is significantly lighter than a cast iron pot of the same size, which would be almost impossible to lift in and out of the oven when full of stew.

Great size, for say, a whole chicken or a joint. Light weight, and cleans so easily. Love the fact that I can brown on the hob, and transfer straight to the oven. Very happy with it.

I think this casserole pot is ideal for hob to oven use, light weight which is good for anyone with painful movement of shoulders or arms etc, like the older cook , due to it being lighter to lift than traditional heavier ones, colour is deep&rich,non stick too,a good all round pot,excellent buy

I cooked bread and some “chicken cacciatore” without anything ever sticking to the Casserole. I used it both in the oven (for the bread) and on the induction hob (for the chicken). Perfect!

Prodotto corrispondente a quanto descritto. Capiente, facile da pulire e molto ben realizzata, peccato però che non sono comprese le persone in silicone che permettono lo spostamento dal fornello senza scottarsi

No es de muy buena calidad. La tapa no encaja con la Cacerola y no cierra bien. Además la agarradera de la tapa es de metal y quema muchísimo
