We bought a Frigidaire portable AC unit. We had nothing but trouble with the window exhaust unit that came with it; it constantly fell out of the window. This unit is much easier to install and it works. Well worth the price.

easy to install with a little careful turning of the vent hose. expands nicely and securely - its better than the original that came with my frigidaire a/c and expands to a wider size as well!

It's very adjustable and easy to install but it's flimsy. Next time I'll just pick one with a round hole instead of this one.

This connector can be tightened to prevent the need to duct tape the expanding panels into place. Makes the connection to the window more predictable and durable. Love it!

I got a portable a/c heater unit in which I have been moving from room to room at different times of the week. In one of the rooms where I use it, the window is too big for the window seal that was provided, so I have been taping card board to cover the opened space. I bought this in hopes I wouldn't have to keep taping the cardboard to the window. If they would have made the opening in a circle, I wouldn't have a problem. But since oval is the ONLY option which I was able to find, I took the chance, knowing i have to change the part on the hose. Upon getting this, I tried to attach it to the hose, but found that it will NOT fit. This despite the description showing it is the correct size. I tried for almost an hour to get it to attach to the hose, all the while trying NOT to tear the hose, but was unsuccessful. As stated above, if they would have the opening as a circle (like what comes with portable a/c units), all would be fine. But since the manufacturer had the bright idea to make it oval, THIS IS A WAST OF MONEY FOR ME. Its trash.

Il prodotto è arrivato integro e puntualmente. Avevo già acquistato il modello precedente e mi sono trovato bene. Speravo di poter unire questo modello al precedente per allungarlo e posizionarlo sotto una finestra grande. Purtroppo le differenze di progettazione li rendono incompatibili per l'incastro. In compenso le misure di altezza e spessore sono rimasti uguali e basta arrangiarsi un po' per unirli, perfino col semplice scotch, o creando una giunzione. Per tutta l'estate la guarnizione ha retto bene al peso della serranda grande e nessun si è deformato. Mai avuto problemi di distacco del tubo del condizionatore. Ho dovuto creare da solo un rialzo perché la parte bassa della cornice della finestra in questiome è molto alta e il tubo non sarebbe arrivato all'incastro. Ho risolto con due listelli di legno verniciati che entravano perfettamente nei binari della finestra. La guarnizione aderisce bene alla tapparella e al piano solo se è tutto liscio e diritto. La mia tapparella era un po' rigonfia verso l'esterno e per compensare ho applicato sopra e sotto una guarnizione morbida e adesiva per chiudere i pochi millimetri di differenza. Risolto. Prodotto consigliato.

Die Verarbeitung der Fensterabdichtung ist ausgezeichnet Leider fehlt ein Teil und zwar ein sogenanntes Netz, das dafür sorgen sollte, daß von außen keine Insekten eindringen können. Auch eine Zweitlieferung bestätigte das Fehlen des Teils. Der Verkäufer sitzt in New York City. Auf eine Mail von mir hat er nicht reagiert.
