I’m trying out sulphur for some stubborn facial acne that isn’t responding well to my normal products. This soap so far seems to be working well, my skin feels good after using it and I feel like my skin clarity is better since starting it. It does have some sulphuric odor, but not as strong as I feared, I’m actually pleasantly surprised by how light the smell is. It’s not as expensive as other products in my skincare lineup, especially being a full size bar, so I feel like the value for money is good.Remember to do an allergy test with it if it’s your first time using topical sulphur!

I get occasional back and chest acne in summer so my dermatologist actually put me onto this product. I tried using it on my face daily to see if it would prevent acne but it didn’t. It took some time for my back and chest acne to resolve with daily use so that’s why I give it 4 stars…not sure if it just had to run its course to heal or if the product got rid of it. It does have a sulfur smell not overpowering but I feel like I can still smell it after use. I didn’t notice any excessive dryness which is positive.

I have been struggling with acne from rosacea for the past few years. I had perfect skin in my teens and twenties, but now in my thirties, it has begun to rebel. I was given this very expensive 3 part system to try, and I had a horrible reaction to it. I had a major breakout on both cheeks and my forehead both of acne, red splotching and dry patches. After researching natural ingredients to help with these symptoms, I found that sulfur is the most recommended natural ingredient for treating these types of issues. I ordered these soap bars, and after 3 days of use twice a day (in the morning and before bed), my skin is almost completely clear of both acne and redness. I have combined washing my face with this soap and doing the skin cycling process at night before bed. I will be making this my new face soap for sure. I already knew that sulfur didn't smell nice, so I was prepared for the light stinky smell. If you don't know what to expect, I'd say it smells a bit like a dog pooed somewhere nearby. You only smell it while the soap is on your skin, and it is gone as soon as you rinse your skin, so don't worry about the smell sticking to you. If you have any issues with rosacea I highly recommend trying this soap.

Worked great but did leave a yellow tint on my face

Despite it's rather high price, this soap is very good in fighting blemishes and "splotches" on your face and head. This is due to the sulphur in the soap bar. Supposedly, it is a deterrent to bugs too, ie, chiggers, mosquitoes, ticks, etc. I haven't been able to verify that yet tho... but, it has made my face look a tremendously better in only 3 days... no blemishes now! (FYI...it is NOT abrasive either) We probably will buy again, but, I sure wish the price was somewhat lower and the scent is not wonderful, but not bad either. I am glad it does NOT have a perfume smell or odor... folks overdo that these days!

I originally bought this to try on my psoriasis: scalp, ears, elsewhere. I ended up needing a prescription for my condition as this soap dried my patches but did not heal them. However, this turns out to be the best thing I've used to combat jock itch.Looking at the ingredients, sulfur and salt, it makes sense this would kill fungi... it does! I have always struggled with periodic jock itch, which I've battled with medicated powders, creams, and everything else available OTC. Trying this for my psoriasis, I used it everywhere. Turns out, while it didn't help the psoriasis, it is magic on jock itch...Pleasant surprise!I use this daily from my belly button to my lower back in the shower and have had ZERO jock itch since. I use this first thing in the shower and let the suds sit while I use better smelling soap everywhere else, shampoo, wash face, etc. (I still powder post shower which can't hurt.)Since I only use the soap in one area, it lasts a long time. While it doesn't smell great, a washover with shower gel before rinsing seems to eliminate residual sulfur scent.If you struggle with jock itch or athlete's foot, I'd recommend giving this a try!
