Send in the Vikings! This horn is crazy awesome! Right out of its burlap bag, this thing was impressive. It is real horn, polished and engraved with runes. Edges are smooth. Hanging strap is useful. But, most of all, that eerie howl!! And, it's loud... Imagine how terrifying it would be to hear this in the woods and not know what it is! Some customers report having trouble getting the horn to sound more than a guffaw. But when I mentioned the recommendation to blow like a trumpet, then junior-high band practice kicked in, and it rattled the truck windows! Great gift, really brought a smile to my guy's face. It's an impressive size and a wicked good looking piece so even while it hangs by the door, it's bringing respect. It came quickly, packed well, and the "gift bag," with its Viking image was fun. I hesitated because of the price but when it came, I had no more doubts. This is not a toy. It is not cos-play junk. Very happy with the purchase.

The Viking horn that I received was great the carvings were clean and very well done the size of the horn is as described and the wistle is a cool gift I found the Viking horn instructions easy to use I was able to produce a very loud sound right away and with a little practice I’m looking forward to be able to change the sound If you’re thinking about getting a Viking horn check this one out you won’t be disappointed

Learning is a HUGE curve lololol I can either get it to blow REALLY AWESOME or I sound like a dieing moose... just gunna take some practice and muscle memory. It would be a 5 but not a fan of all of the carvings.

Man, this thing is fun. I blow it every morning and I swear my neighbors hate me because of it but it’s so cool! You got a pucker your lips and blow through it like you would a trumpet mouthpiece but then you’ll find the resonance that sounds the best and just continue blowing and it’ll make a great horn sound the .Gjallar Horn.Durr Durr Durr Doooooooooh

My dad LOVES his Viking horn! Takes some practice to get the right tone.

Kinda bummed Bought as bday gift & has scratches on mouth piece but price tag says new; not able to give it for purpose intended Other than that the clear bag it was placed in had strong musty smell so I took it out of that & just placed it on the mesh bag it came in with. It’s just on my table for now til I figure out what to do with it

Love the horn, I did have to reshape the mouth peice in order to use the horn correctly but that was not issue.
