Really Nice Battery Case for iPhone 7 Plus
This is a really nice battery case. I had the Alpatronix battery case for my iPhone 6 and really liked it. In fact, my son now has that phone and uses the battery case all the time, so it's still going strong. Here is my opinions on this new battery case for the iPhone 7 plus:PROS:--Almost two full re-charges of the 7 plus. My phone was about 17% when I turned on the battery re-charge. After the phone was re-charged to 100%, I still had approximately half of the battery left in the case.--Can re-charge while doing average phone work and doesn't get to warm. I did some Waze navigation for about 30 minutes while it charged back up the phone, some emails and texts, etc. and the battery level kept increasing, so I'm guessing unless you are really taxing your phone, it re-charges quickly enough to keep your phone from continuing to drain. It also doesn't get too hot. I keep my phone in my pocket and I've had the case re-charging the battery for an hour while in my pocket and I haven't even noticed.--New case design is better. The case is sturdy, feels good and solid. The way to insert the phone into the case is an improvement over the iPhone 6 version. It also feels like it will provide good protection against drops and bumps, etc.--Good cut-outs. The buttons are all easy to work and the cut-out for the camera seems wide enough to allow the flash to work fairly well (I've had many cases that make the flash unusable).--Despite the first con listed below (weight and height) the phone still fits in my jean pocket (but just barely) and in my car-dash holder.CONS:--Adds bulk AND height to your phone. I list this as a con, but really any battery case has this con, so it's not really a knock on this particular battery case. Just know that it adds weight and also makes the phone taller. But all of them do that.--Uses Micro-USB cord. Another con that most other cases have as well. It would be nice to have a lightning adapter instead, to keep one-cord simplicity. But that said, I have a gazillion Micro-USB cords from all my other devices, so it isn't that big of a deal.--Doesn't add a headphone jack. I think a couple battery cases might add a real headphone jack as part of the case, but this one doesn't. And with it using a Micro-USB port, that also means that you can't use any lightning cable headphones with this case. So when using this case you are limited to bluetooth headphones only. Which is what I use, so no big deal to me, but if that's important to you, something to consider. So that's my basic thoughts on this battery case. I probably won't leave my phone in this case day-to-day, as the 7 plus has a great battery already and usually gets me through my day no problem, but I will definitely be using this any time I will be out for extended days away from power sources, like a day out hiking or a day at an amusement park, etc. With almost 3 full battery charges available to you (1 from phone, 2 from case) that's a lot of time on your phone available to you.

Love this product in spite of a small flaw!
I've had three Alpatronix BX180Plus iPhone 7 Plus Battery cases, all purchased through Amazon. Each one has served me well in spite of the fact that I can be kind of rough with my phone. The battery life has never once failed me, and I can usually get a couple of full charges out of it when needed. It has been a hero in protecting my iPhone! It looks great and the non-slip covering on it is awesome...EXCEPT...it begins peeling just a few weeks after each of my purchases, and makes the unit not very pleasing, aesthetically! The coating just doesn't stick that well to the cover. I called them with my first purchase to suggest they have someone develop something that would last longer, and the customer service person I talked to apologized, said she would give my suggestion to the appropriate people and then offered to replace the product without question!! Who does that these days! Well, the product was still pretty new, and worked great, so I refused the replacement, but thanked them for offering. The second one did the same, but I liked the Alpatronix battery, protection and great price (compared to the Mophies I used to buy) so much that I just rubbed the rest of the coating off so it didn't look bad and just went with a shiny battery instead. The hard plastic of that one finally cracked after about the 150th time I dropped it (my phone has never received damage due to this product protecting it), so I have a new one that I'll probably have to rub off the coating again! But, with or without the coating, I love it! Maybe one day they'll develop the coating so it will last. Then I'll be giving this a 5 star+!

Great product for an awesome price !
I purchased this battery case for my iPhone 7plus a little over a week ago and have been very satisfied with the product . The packaging of product is very nice . I unplugged my phone/case on Monday morning at 6:30 am with a full charge on both and did not have to plug into charger until Tuesday around midnight. I am an average phone user and was quite impressed with the amount of time that I was able to use phone without having to plug into wall for a charge. The overall design is slim and it does add some weight to the phone it also provides protection. As a bonus , there was a tempered glass screen protector that came with phone. I also really like the fact that phone easily slides in and out of case if you need to remove it. The only downside is that case itself uses Micro Usb cable to charge instead of lightning cable to charge. I thought this may cause a problem when trying to use Apple Car play but I was pleasantly surprised when phone connected with Micro Usb in car and it worked perfectly. I have not yet synced phone to PC but I suspect it will work fine without having to remove phone from case. The only drawback to the battery case so far is that after only a little over a week and relatively gentle /normal use , the matte finish is wearing off and exposing a glossy black plastic. This doesn't concern me too much because I am happy with the functionality of the battery power provided. I guess I could cover with a sticker or two to personalize the case and cover blemishes. I have noticed that although you have to hold power on button to activate charge , this can be accidentally turned on by accident while phone is in pocket---no big deal really because all it does is return phone to full charge anyway. So far I really love this battery case and YOU CAN'T beat it for that price ! You get a great power source and protection for you phone all in one. I paid close to that amount for a candy bar sized power source that was convenient to have but awkward when tethering to phone to charge. The only reason i did not give 5 star review was due to the short period of time it took for the matte black finish to start to fail from relatively easy use .
