Head in a Jar

Wasn't sure what this would be like - ended up being amazing. Very unique. Everyone commented on it/picked it up. I put water with some red food coloring in the bottom. We did a table where you feel guts (spaghetti), eyeballs (grapes), vomit (salsa), etc. This was on display on that table. Perfect! I dumped out the water and saved it for a decoration for next year! Not cheap and flimsy, like some decorations.

Very happy with this! The head is a bit smaller than a human head but once you put water in the jar, it becomes life size. We put a couple of drops of green food coloring in the water to add a more realistic effect. Love this head in the jar, and how often will you get an e-mail from Amazon that says, "Your Head In a Jar has Shipped..."

Its not bad, but its not like the picture. the Jar is totally different and the color is not close and is more faded. The head is smaller than the one in the picture and while similar its not the same one. Its wasnt that much and not worth my effort to return so I will keep it and find a way to use it. Just be warned you you will get is not the same as the item pictured.

I wasn’t impressed at first glance doesn’t look like picture. However that being said I still found a pretty interesting issue for this novelty item. I run a haunted house and I’m a bloody Bride in the graveyard. I now carry the jar with the head around and I call for Edgar my husbands body. When people come out I’m wandering looking for Edgar and asking if they can help me find my husbands body. He needs his body. It’s a distraction because I finally say can I have your body he’s going to kill you anyway and then out come the chainsaws.Anyway back in topic the jar is a cheap plastic container and the head is pretty small but again it works for what I need. Would I buy it again probably not.

I read a few reviews concerning adding water and I have to say you absolutely can add water. The face is rubber and air filled, think dog squeak toys, so you can squeeze any water out of it when you store it. I definitely left mine out to dry for a few days before storing it but that should be obvious. Put it in the break room fridge at work, it was perfect! The head is actually kind of small so the water really helped magnify it!

This product is not worth the money. It is more goofy looking than scary. The tag was left on it and we can't reach inside the jar to remove it. the jar is plastic and is scratched up all over taking away from the head inside. We are going to try to add water and dye to hopefully make it look better. My 10 & 12 year old thought it was stupid looking.

Don't know why it asked how it fit because you dont wear it? It was really cool and a nice piece for our halloween party!
