I've been using this for over 20 years. It is the best hair product I have ever used and it also works in beards better than any beard product I have ever purchased. It conditions, shines, smells good, looks great, everything you could want, unless you are looking for something to keep it firmly in place. You can spike up hair with it if your hair is short.

Great product and keeps you hair with just enough hold. Kind of feels like seasalt hair when you're at the beach (just dirty enough to have hold :)... and he smell is wonderful.

This product was able to help my really stiff gray hair with a cowlick actually look manageable. Didn't look stiff. Would prefer to have it not smell at all

love this product. Have been using it since the 1990's. It does not hold like a hairspray but does not leave my hair stiff like a spray either. It allows for great styling and holds the look quite good.

I have been using Aveda products since the 90’s when I worked in an Aveda concept salon, so I am quite familiar with how well their products work. This control paste is no different. It smells like fresh cut lemon grass and the texture is thick, so I holds the hair in place. The formula seems to have a changed a little over the years because thick particular jar that I got is more of a creamier texture whereas the old formula was thicker and stiff. I like this texture more. I would highly recommend this control paste if you only want quality, clean ingredients.

Benutze diese Creme schon viele Jahre. Sie ist sehr ergiebig, man braucht nur wenig zu nehmen. Gut in der Hand verreiben und dann ins Haar geben. Schön zum stylen... ich habe einen Kurzhaarschnitt.
