A Beatrix Potter Treasury (Peter Rabbit)

I bought 3. Two for baby shower gifts and couldn't resist getting one for our granddaughter too. It has all my favorite Beatrix Potter stories I read to our daughters years ago. The size is perfect, the pages are nice and thick. The illustrations are wonderful. A great gift idea. There is a chapter about the author at the beginning which includes photos. Very nice.

This is selection of BP’s writing with the original art. Many of the books I looked at had “updated” artwork which was not what I was looking for.

I love this book. It's a lovely tribute to the the art and stories of Beatrix Potter. Ten of her most well known and loved stories are in this book with the beautiful art that goes with the stories. The only thing that I would change is the art would be bigger. The watercolor paintings of Ms. Potter are rather small. This book brings back a lot of memories of childhood for me. Thats worth every penny I paid for this book. A real stroll down memory lane.

This edition of the book is so beautiful. I wanted an edition that could become a family “heirloom” passed down. This book definitely fits the bill. The illustrations are exquisite. These stories are beautifully written and offer such a quality piece of literature for young children. Many books these days fail to live up to the classics. So glad I purchased this!

My Mom used to read these stories and made some up herself to get me to eat.

I love these stories for the art mostly, and all the images are shrunken down in this version. I was hoping for some full page-size images, but this large book condenses them all to several a page.

The book is very pretty and the illustrations are stunning, however, there's a missing page at the end of the book that is bothering me a bit!😅Never received a book with a missing endpage before!

The Beatrix Potter stories are surprisingly complex. We got this for my mother-in-law, who has dementia, and she now treasures it. When I read the stories with her, I was pleased by the characters and detail.

The book arrived within just 3-4 days. It was packed along with another book I’d ordered in a carton for extra protection, so the book was in pristine condition.It’s a first-rate book, such good glossy paper quality, dreamy original artwork and such a nice introduction on Beatrix Potter and her life (along with 10 selected tales). Couldn’t ask for more!

Love this book brings back so many childhood memories. Very plessed with the prompt delivery of my purchase.
