Please explain?? new labeling compared to old labeling, (old bottle,aqueous humic substances 150 mg,) (new bottle,Humic extract from ancient soil 5mg)

We have recently updated our labels and bottles with more transparent labeling, sustainable packaging, and a fully aligned mission. To be clear, absolutely nothing about the formula has changed. The amount per serving for our active ingredient, “aqueous humic substances” was 150 mg on our previous label. However, now that we have changed our active ingredient to “humic extract”, the new amount per serving is 5mg. Again, the formula, dosing, and serving size have not changed. But the way we measure our ingredient has become more accurate thanks to the availability of more accurate testing. We now measure the exact amount of humic extract present in each serving of ION*. While previously, we were calculating the amount of ION* molecules together with their water shell, which are held together via hydrogen bonding, we are now able to measure the amount of humic extract more accurately without the water shell. This is 5mg per serving of ION*. Moving to the actual weight of humic extract is a more readily understood, measurable, and transparent view of our ingredient.

How do you know when "leaky gut" is being repaired or has been repaired??

I don’t know if leaky gut is a medical term or exists. Diverticulitis is a medical condition and adding back into our system GOOD bacteria helps the colon and bowel moments. Also adding probiotics.We need both and taking antibiotics alters our capacity to be regular as we age. More to be learned about what used to be termed rough age and it’s effect on the colon.

As an adult should I start with 1/8 tsp 3 times a day or once? Doesn’t specify on the bottle

I have found that one teaspoon per day works for me. I take it in one dose.

Has anyone taken it and been having a hard time sleeping?

It affects everyone differently based on the state of their current health; it actually gives me bone crushing lethargy, but I can't sleep at all if I don't take it, so I'm playing around with timing to see when I can take it to make me sleep, but not affect the rest of my day.
