Good kit to start with.
This is the first time I’ve ever used a nail kit like this. I’m pleasantly surprised at how easy it was and how nice the nails turned out. I’ve only had them on for about 24 hours but they feel like they have the durability of the professionally done acrylic nails I’ve gotten before. I’ll update when/if the first nail comes off. I do wish the forms came in more sizes. But overall for a beginners kit this is a great one to get all the things you need and see if you like it. Update 1: Its now been 17 days since I put these on and none have fallen off or even feel close to coming off. The gel top coat has also been great and very durable. I even filed the nails shorter at around 13 days and the polish(regular polish I had already) with the top coat over it is still firmly in place. I’ll update again when I either take the nails off or one falls off. But as far as I’m concerned I’ve gotten my moneys worth out of this kit already. Update 2: After 20 days of having them on one of the nails finally came off. It was also the very first one I put on and was arguably done the worst. The rest are still pretty solid. Update 3: Last update. I ended up taking the nails off myself at around 4 weeks. I only had two nails just straight up come off which were the two I did the worst job at putting on. All the others had to be soaked and clipped to come off, so overall they are VERY sturdy if you do it well. I had a tiny bit of lifting at my cuticle edge on all of the nails, but that was due to me not pushing back my cuticles well enough and not filing the tops of my nails well enough on that edge. I fully believe if I do everything better next time that I’ll be able to get 4 weeks out of all the nails and that they would be attached enough to make filling them worth it.

Good quality and easy to use.
I used colors from the green and blue sets. The product was very easy to use. I didn't use the dual forms provided in the sets, as I wanted stiletto without shaping and filing. I also picked up a chrome powder that matched the colors I wanted to use. The cure time was fast, and while the tubes are small, you don't need too much product to achieve the look you're going for. It's much easier than acrylic to me, and super strong. The trick to mold it smoothly is making sure your brush stays semi saturated with the slip solution. If there's not enough, then the brush will pull away some of the product. The brush is of good quality, and the file is also very good. Since I used the forms, I didn't have to file as much. I found it easier to go one nail at a time, so it did take me a bit longer. The price of this set is very much worth it. You get sever colors, including clear. The top coat is also of good quality. Lastly, I do think this is beginner friendly, and you pick up a lot along the way. Other than beetles, Markart is my go-to for builder gels.

Lamp lasted four years.
I purchased this in 2020. It was pretty straight forward. I watched a few tutorials on how to make the nails. It is a nice starter kit, if you don’t want to invest in a lot of supplies and want to try your hand at doing your own nails. The gel builder cure tacky. So if you are unfamiliar with gel nails, you might think the product is defective. The lamp died today 11/03/2024. It had a pretty good run. So I will be looking for a new one.

This Kit is Good
**Skip to the bottom for the list of Pros and Cons** Well this has been the best gel-related purchase I’ve ever made. I got the kit because it had everything in one place for a decent price tag as well as the green colors (green is my favorite color). I had really bad allergic reactions to doing my own gel nails because I was mixing and matching different gel products from different companies. It’s caused my nail to lift from the bed, almost falling off completely. I got this kit after I stopped wearing gel polish for about a year, letting my nails completely regrow in. I did one set using the greener color and the second set using the aquamarine color. With the first set I kept it on for about a week, as my nails grew I realized I accidentally left a pool of gel around my cuticle, so I took them off to do my next set and see if I can avoid the gel looking into my cuticles. It worked, and I’m on week 1 of the second set. When I removed the first set, there was no lifting or signs of the allergic reaction. Now down to the Green kit itself and how it performs. First, the package came slightly damaged, but the products were completely intact. The kit comes with everything listed. The cleanser is decent sized (acetone does work the same way as the cleanser does), with 4 polygels (clear, light green, darker green, and aquamarine), a good nail file, brush and spatula applicator, a base & top coat, and dual forms & the kit instructions/FAQ manual pamphlet. The instructions are easy to follow for the dual forms, and are detailed. The applicators and files work perfectly and the base/top coats are awesome as well (if a bit hard to read the label to tell which is which). The polygels are nice and easy to work with. The only thing I would say about them is that they aren’t very opaque. I would have loved the aquamarine if it was just a bit more opaque in color and not as clear. It’s pretty easy to work around though. Just add more to the bottom of your form and reapply on top of your first formed nail. The gel doesn’t burn! That’s a first for me. I applied them how I normally would and I was never burned through the entire process. Pros: - I’m not allergic!!! - Kit comes with everything you need. - If you run out of cleanser just buy a bottle of acetone and it works great. - File is durable and made well. - Comes with 4 polygels and plenty of dual forms. - The brush/spatula took is made to last and functions perfectly. - The gel polish doesn’t burn my nails like gel usually does!! - Comes with a detailed manual with a large FAQ section. Nothing is misspelled. The grammar is also perfect and easily understood. - While the application process has a learning curve, the gel isn’t easily prone to movement like builder gel is. So you can take your time making sure everything is perfect before curing. - Inlay is easy, my second set has a few star decals I put into the gel. With two coats of the top coat these decals are here to stay until I remove the set. Cons: - You have to file this stuff off or peel it from your nails. It isn’t a soak-off product. - The polygels aren’t completely opaque, so one formed nail may show your actual nail through the pigment. - The cleanser has a small amount of product, enough for ~2 sets. - The application process with the dual forms has a learning curve.

I don't recommend it.
I bought this kit to do my nails myself at home since I have experience doing that, but honestly, the quality isn't good. I don't like that it gets sticky.

Perfect starter kit for Polygel!
Awesome kit! Has most everything you need for perfect nails at home. High quality everything! The polygel tubes look small, but the contents go a long way. Out of one tube I’ve done 4 or 5 full sets of a decent length, and there was still some left over. Towards the end of the tube the gel seemed to be a little harder to work with (almost felt like it had cured slightly?) and had some air bubbles in it, but if you use a tube-coil device (like for toothpaste) I’m sure this wouldn’t be as much of an issue. The products are easy to use and beginner-friendly. I had never used polygel or done extensions EVER and my first set turned out amazing! They last a long time and look great even a week and a half later- and I work in healthcare and corrections and am very hard on my hands. I watched a YouTube tutorial (channel: The Beauty Vault) to learn how to use this kit, and she explains how to use it in a way that beginners like myself could easily follow. The photo was taken about a week after I put on the set; I used the Natural Pink tube and added decals (found on Amazon). I highly recommend this kit!!

so fun and easy!
I have always loved doing my own nails and other people’s nails, but hated going to the salon. It was not the same experience for me. It’s more fun to do on your own hehehe. I’m not sure where I heard of poly gel (probably tik tok lol) but this kit was great! It was my first time doing something anything fancier than regular polish and I found it very easy to learn and use! I did my sisters nails and they look salon quality! I did my own so of course my right hand looks a bit wonky since I’m right-handed and had to use my left hand, but overall I think they look pretty good for my first time and doing them on myself! I think the kit was great to get all the supplies needed (except the UV light, you will need to buy that separately. I believe I have the SUNUV lamp) but I think next time I will just get a bottle of clear gel because I have soooo many regular nail polish colors and I’ve noticed that the regular polish lasts longer on poly gel nails than on your regular nails! I also read that if you use acetone-free nail polish remover then you can change the color of your poly gel nails if you use regular polish on top.. (this was a plus for me bc i’m always changing my mind🤣)!!

Product & Shipping Overview
Product overview: I love markartt and their polygel. The polygel istself is a 10/10 for me. The kit itself is relatively good. You will need to purchase a curing lamp and cuticle oil of some sort. My lamp from markartt was like $10 so it’s not a big deal. This kit seems pretty small when you first receive it but it packs a lot of bang for its buck. One tube of polygel gave me about four sets. So all together it’s about 16 sets give it take. Super beginner friendly and easy to use! Shipping overview: Now the reason I only gave this product 3/5 stars was because of shipping. I ordered my kit with two day shipping that was almost $12 and it took four weeks for my package to arrive. Not only that but ups lost my package the first time and I had to reorder the kit. I was super excited to get the kit, but super disappointed that it took almost four weeks to actually get to me. The product itself is great, the shipping is iffy. I ordered my lamp and a large tube of white polygel through markartt as well and both arrived within 2 days. Maybe just a fluke? Either way I’d say if you are just starting out this kit is well worth the buy.
